This was my first experience purchasing a brand new car. I was worried that because of my age that I would be talked down to and taken advantage of. I had knowledge of how the entire process works going in I was worried that because of my age that I would be talked down to and taken advantage of. I had knowledge of how the entire process works going in and I feel like I was treated with the respect anyone would want to be treated with in this situation. My salesman Larry Stover was very friendly and helpful. He and Bob Carter did everything they could to get me into the car I wanted without ripping me off. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Midlands Honda to anyone interested. More
This was my wife and I's first car buying experience for purchasing a new vehicle. Our salesman, Robert (Robbie), could not have led us through it any better than he did. First of all, he passed the "Wife purchasing a new vehicle. Our salesman, Robert (Robbie), could not have led us through it any better than he did. First of all, he passed the "Wife test". My wife was extremely comfortable with him and did not feel pressured at all. Any salesman that can pass that test is someone I will want to deal with every time. The entire Midlands Honda experience was fantastic. Robbie took the time to allow us to play with all the features and was able to answer all our questions. He also provided a lot of pertinent information that we hadn't asked about. He clearly had intimate knowledge of the vehicle and this was easily the best test drive we'd ever been on. The vehicle we drove, a 2010 Honda CR-V, was amazing. Once we completed the test drive, we were given a tour of the entire dealership. Midlands Honda is running a top-notch facility, from the sales floor to the waiting area to the service garage. Everyone was friendly and always willing to help. We also got to speak with the sales manager, Mark Rossi, and the finance manager, Debbie Phillips. Two of the nicest folks I've ever met and made completing the purchase so easy. Buying a car can be stressful, but Midlands Honda goes out of its way to make sure it is not. I believe that Honda makes fantastic vehicles, but it's the little things that can stand out. Thank you Robbie, Mark, and Debbie. When my wife needs to purchase a new vehicle in a few years, we most certainly will be back to see you. More
I enjoyed my experience at Midlands Honda although it was a little more lengthy than usual, but everything happens for a reason and part of it was due to the fact that everyone I worked with went the extra m a little more lengthy than usual, but everything happens for a reason and part of it was due to the fact that everyone I worked with went the extra mile to ensure that I was happy with all final decisions that were being made. Kacey Green was awesome to work with. Steve Graham was very helpful in exploring all options that I should consider whether it was leasing or purchasing. I decided to lease and I feel for myself it was a great move for me being that this is my FIRST car! I am absolutely thrilled with Bob Carter! Towards the end, a few things occured and I was declined again. Bob Carter made a call or two and everything was cleared up and I was approved! Bob went the extra mile for me and because of it, it has changed my life completely! I TRULY thank him for doing so! I wanted to cry! Midlands Honda is a great dealership to purchase from! I will always recommend and speak highly of this dealership! More
In today's economic times, the customer is not appreciated, I did not feel this way at Midlands Honda. It was a nice change to be greeted in a friendly manner. The following is the email that I sent the owner of the store....it explains our whole experience....at the time of this posting nothing has been done to fix anything: My husband, Mickey, has been in co store....it explains our whole experience....at the time of this posting nothing has been done to fix anything: My husband, Mickey, has been in contact with you through voicemail and other employees of yours (over the phone and in person)numerous times. Just when I think things cannot get any worst and I think we are done dealing with your business somehow my husband or I find ourselves dealing with your company again. This time things have gone too far. As I was checking my bank account tonight I was very surprised to find a car payment taken out for the Saturn Vue that I traded in on August 3, 2010. Now I have a car payment for the new Honda Accord that was purchased at your dealership on August 3, 2010 and wondering where I am going to get the money from. I am at the point where I WILL be making a phone call to the Honda's Corporate Office first thing Monday morning if all these problems are not worked out! And yes I mean ALL these problems!!!! We still have not gotten our new car, from you, fixed as promised when we purchased the car. I hope you can remember the phone message that my husband left you about the bumper of our vehicle being fixed and how Marlene Brazell treated us HORRIBLY. We assumed that you had a talk with her because she did call and talk to my husband about getting the bumper painted and the speaker in the car checked out. However August 18 Marlene said that she would call my husband back and let him know if Tuesday, August 24 would be a good day to bring in the car. We have not heard back from her since August 18 and our car is still not fixed. I sure hope that this is not the customer service that you pride your dealership on because our experience has been nothing short of terrible. We were just looking to buy a car and though we know there is nothing wonderful about going through the "buying a car" business...this experience has taken on another meaning. I could sit down and name at least 12 things that show poor customer service: 1. Dealing with a sales representative who has NO customer service skills 2. Having my husband deal with financing and Marlene for 6 hours straight (4-10pm) and not even have the paper for our new car completed....and no it wasn't due to numbers not working out or bad credit...some b/c they could not get the price that we were quoted on right and had to do the paperwork all over again…this is just one of the many things wrong that night 3. No phone call about our car arriving (Husband had to stop in and find out about the car b/c my husband called to check on the car and was told he would be called back in 5 minutes from Marlene and heard nothing back four hours later) 4. Husband told Marlene and finance manager (Mike) that papers had to be together before I came in with my 1 and 3 year old daughters so that my daughters would not be inconvenience…it was no where to being not right (Four hours spent there that night) 5. Finally when papers were ready and I was signing there was $1000 that was added to the price as a down payment that was never discussed and that "I" noticed....when I questioned Mike, he told me that my husband had told Dan about the $1000 and when I told him that wasn't true Mike made my husband out as a liar....later discovered wasn't the case when Mike looked at the original paper of finances 6. When we called to get the bumper fixed as mentioned at closing Marlene was looking into what day the guy would be there paint the bumper, she called back and left a message on my husband's cell phone to call her back. the next day when Mickey returned the phone call Marlene said she didn't know what he was talking about and she didn't remember saying that you guys would fix the bumper...even though we had it on my husband's voicemail. 7. Mickey finally talks to her and she still didn't know what he was talking about and Mickey told her that the speakers weren't working right and we would like them checked. She had the nerve to ask him "Why did you have them so loud"...treating us like a second class citizen...this is when he called you!!! 8. Problems with the trunk tray being in and not in....seemed to be a miscommunication problem with Marlene and the service men 9. I received a phone call from Mike asking for my Driver's License number b/c Mike did not make a copy of it and could not progress our loan so I called him and was told everything was fine now that he had my number…we had the new car by now 10. Two days later called on a Saturday and asked to come down to Midlands Honda by Debbie Phillips that day or on Sunday b/c you needed a copy of my driver’s license and my signature on a paper that I was never given to sign...I have mentioned that we live in Chapin. 11. Received a call from Marlene...as I stated above, we are assuming after you talked to her b/c all of a sudden she is nice...about getting the car scheduled to be worked on. Mickey said Tuesday would work for him and Marlene said that she would call him back and still hasn't and our car is still not fixed 12. Car payment for the car that I traded in coming out of my account on August 25, 2010 and calling GMAC to only find out that the loan is STILL not paid off!!! I am DONE with this and this WILL be the last time I will deal with your dealership. My husband and I are just everyday people who were looking for a used car and never expected this. I did end up walking out of the dealership at step 5 but Sam came out and told me he was unaware of what was going on and apologized for all of what had taken place. Told me he understood where we were coming from on payments (after $1000 was taken out too much for us) b/c his wife was a teacher like me. He worked the payments back down and was VERY NICE (the only person who I worked with that had any customer service) so despite my gut feeling of not buying a car from you....I did. We are not looking for anything but for this to be solved!!!! I will NOT deal with Marlene anymore and I expected to have this all cleared up by tomorrow. I WILL be there first thing after church...so around 1pm when you open. Like I mentioned above....if not dealt with tomorrow....I WILL call corporate when they open on Monday!!!!! I look forward from hearing from you personally. Sincerely, Jeanne Mickey More
We are WOWed and owe a BIG Thank You to Midlands Honda! My husband and I went to Midlands Honda looking for the perfect MiniVan for our growing family. Not only did we find the PERFECT MiniVan, but we My husband and I went to Midlands Honda looking for the perfect MiniVan for our growing family. Not only did we find the PERFECT MiniVan, but we also found a group of people who came to work to make happy customers and that obviously enjoy their job. We are beyond pleased with the service we received and will continue to use Midlands Honda as our contact for purchasing new/used vehicles. After working with two other local dealerships, I came to find out that they have NOTHING on Midlands Honda. Shannon Rogers, our sales associate was outstanding! He covered the vehicle front to back, top to bottom and was extremely personable! Bob Carter, our financing associate covered every detail regarding our financing and warranty options. We enjoyed our time spent with the associates... it was very comfortable and at times quite funny too! :) We left feeling that our experience couldn't have been any better and our best interest was definitely considered! I plan to tell anyone who I know that is interested in buying a new or used car to go to Midlands Honda! You just can't beat it! More
