Mr. Kemp had great communication via phone and email, as I was working with him from Charleston, SC. He was able to accommodate me in every way possible and truly went above and beyond for me. Also, Mr. Kemp was professional, courteous, and trustworthy. I felt that he was able to give me a great price on the car that I traded in and gave me a great price on the car that I purchased. Overall, this car buying experience was excellent and I will make the 2 hour trip to buy all of my future cars from Mr. Kemp. More
I went to Midlands Honda with my son to look at a new car for him. However, while I was waiting I decided to look. The salesperson assisting my son sent another salesperson to assist me. He explained the features and offered to let me take a test drive of one of the cars that I liked. I was very impressed with the selection and the function of the particular car that I had test driven. I was so impressed I asked what was available with the option I wanted in the new car. I found the perfect SUV for my needs and decided to buy it that day. I would even consider returning soon to replace my other aging vehicle. More
I did not feel pressured and genuinely felt like the employees were there to help me. The salesman really listened to what I was looking for in a car, and was able to help me find a great match. My only complaint, and it is not a big one, was that the salesman left us sitting and waiting a couple of times to deal with other customers whom he had already sold a car. My husband and I have bought many cars during our 29 years of marriage, but we have never dealt with a salesperson as professional as Mark Rossi. From the moment we walked in the door, Mark went above and beyond our expectations to make this the most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had. First, his out-going personality and extraordinary efforts to make us "comfortable" at Midlands Honda were exceptional. A buyers initial encounter with their salesperson can "make or break" a deal. We have left dealerships before because of the attitude and behaviors of the individual that was "supposedly" helping us. Second, Mark worked exceptionally hard to secure the figures we needed to trade our car and buy a new Honda. He was quite efficient in expediting the process! Third, Mark knows his product and believes in it's quality. This is huge when you have patrons that are comparing similar types of vehicles. It is very frustrating when you are trying to work with someone who can't answer your questions. And finally, Mark made sure our new car was in tip-top shape before we drove it off of the lot (well past closing time). We were tired after a very long day (just as we know he was). We have never had our salesperson wash our new car for us! Midlands Honda should be proud to have someone like Mark Rossi representing their company!!! I was looking for a good dependable vehichle for a great price. Upon looking on the internet at autofinder.com, I found several used SUV's in my price range alll at one place...I also noticed their pricing price. I call, got Thomas Kemp on the phone and let him know I was an hour away and would be ther shortly. His previous appointment ran over so he had Maureen help me...she showed me several SUV's, and was very informative. However, as I arrived close to closing time, I elected to drive back the following morning. Thomas Kemp directly helped me the next day. With the most friendly, helpful, no-pressure professionalism possible, Thomas Kemp put me in an SUV to suit my need. I left Midlands Honda with a smile on my face, a "new-to-me" vehichle and feeling as if I'd made a wonderful choice in vehichle and Dealership. I HIGHLY recommend Midlands Honda for price, variey and friendly service and definately suggest you ask for Thomas Kemp...you'll leave feeling like you had a fruitful and painless experience as well! Bought a 2000 Grand Jeep Cherokee for my college age son "as is" for $4K based on the dealership saying and in print on their web-site: "we put all our used vehicles through an EXTENSIVE INSPECTION before h "as is" for $4K based on the dealership saying and in print on their web-site: "we put all our used vehicles through an EXTENSIVE INSPECTION before hitting the lot in order to ensure they are of the highest quality." Needless to say, I had to have the transmission rebuilt, entire cooling system replaced including the water pump at a cost of $2500. The used car manager was nasty to my wife but agreed to pay $1000 toward the repairs which they did pay. However, I wanted the full amount since the repair shop claims these items were tampered with and covered up (glue on the thermostat, wire fan harness stripped of insulation, etc) in order to give the appearance the car was in good shape. This could have been done by the person who traded it in (as the dealership states). But how was this vehicle "extensively inspected"?. I tried to appeal to the management but to no avail. The used car manager and general manager were very rude when confronted with our problem, couldn't answer this question (about the extensive inspection) and basically said I bought the car "as is...it doesn't get any simpler than that". Buyer beware. This vehicle should NEVER have been put up for sale. "as is" means the buyer is aware of the problems and is willing to take care of them. "as is" is not hidden defects. I have the auto repair report and parts taken out as evidence. We expected more from a reputable dealer. A woman named Sherica was the only bright spot for the employees who work there. She was nice and helpful. More
