In August 2013 we were looking to upgrade our family vehicle and who did we call; you guessed it Jim! Not only did he guide us through the purchase of our 2014 Passat SE, it was seamless! He also helped us put our daughter into her first vehicle on the "SAME DAY"!! I was in the market for a new Mazda6 and looked around a bit, made some calls, even out of state and couldn't really find a deal I was comfortable with. I had stopped by a few weeks back when the car I was looking for wasn't available and had looked at one of the alternate models which Wayne showed me. Anyhow, I called Wayne and told him the price I was offered and whether he could beat it. Wayne and I communicated promptly via phone calls and text messages and within a few minutes the deal was done. Wray and Wayne beat the price on the model, trim and color I wanted. We knew that the 2014 Mazda 3 models were coming out but we preferred the 2013. We wanted a deal. I have known Mr. Harold Wray through my Church that we both attend. I was asked by a close family friend to help her negotiate for the purchase of a used automobile. When I was introduced to Wayne Thompson by Mr. Wray, I knew instinctively that he was a sincere salesperson who had our best interest at heart (even though he had just recently started). He helped my friend and I look at a few options, and she selected a 2012 Jeep with low miles, and it was in really good condition. Mr. Wray and Wayne made a very attractive first offer, and I suggested that she accept it, which she did. They then bent over backwards to help her get the best financing that she could get. It was a very satisfying buying experience. About 4 or 5 weeks later, my youngest son was interested in getting a used auto that did not drink as much gas as his '99 GMC Suburban did, so I called on Wayne Thompson again and gave him some parameters of what we were looking for and the price range. Again, he and Mr. Wray called back very quickly and had a couple of cars for us to look at. We woulnd up buying a VERY clean, well maintained 1998 Buick LeSabre with low mileage, and the price was right. He has been very pleased with it and the gas mileage is so much better. I have also asked Wayne to be on the lookout for another low mileage used car with good gas mileage for my other son, and I am confident that he will be able to locate what we are interested in. All in all, working with Wray Automotive, and with Wayne Thompson in particular, has been a very rewarding and satisfying experience, and I would recommend them to any of my friends or clients that may ask me whom they should go to to find the best deal in the Columbia area.
