I've been coming to Midtown Kia for years, both for my previous Kia as well as this one. The staff is friendly and explains any problems clearly. Most everyone at Midtown Kia is easy to deal with, (nice, professional). I can remember only once when the guy didn’t go over what was done to my car and the ratings of wear. It would be nice if they had a c professional). I can remember only once when the guy didn’t go over what was done to my car and the ratings of wear. It would be nice if they had a car and offered to take you somewhere while you’re waiting. KIA in California does this automatically. More
After the oil change, I noticed the oil level was above the full line on the dipstick. I called and mentioned and drove it back over there and they said it was fine. Also, I’m not certain the tires got rot the full line on the dipstick. I called and mentioned and drove it back over there and they said it was fine. Also, I’m not certain the tires got rotated on both sides. On the driver side, the front tire is worn more than the rear, and this was the first scheduled rotation. More
I’m rating these folks as 4stars cause they ARE good - - but they aren’t perfect. I just had to return the car a week after an oil change because the oil changer didn’t torque the drain plug right and it but they aren’t perfect. I just had to return the car a week after an oil change because the oil changer didn’t torque the drain plug right and it leaked out 1/4 of 1 quart. They made it right - but it is kind of disappointing when you go to a dealership expecting to pay a little more but get a higher quality of service. Oh well. The guys at Midtown Kia are still good guys and I like having them work on my car - but someone just got a little sloppy with the details this time. More
Charged $150 to service my AC after saying they didn't find any issues but said they would charge it or flush it or something like that and they said that should fix the issue but there was ZERO change to find any issues but said they would charge it or flush it or something like that and they said that should fix the issue but there was ZERO change to my AC so not sure what they did for $150. ALSO... I got my car back after 2 weeks and it was dirty and ransacked through. Oil smears all over leather seats, console, door area. My Granddaughter's car seats were in the very back/trunk area sitting up against the back seats and they were thrown into the back seats on top each other as if someone was transporting stuff in the back. There were food crumbs and a gum smear and some cigarette ashes (ashes could have blown through a window while they were working on car) i had the car clean when I dropped it off so I was in shock when I got it back. When I messaged my tech guy Jared Higinboth, he said I could bring the car in to get detailed (which my Daughter and I had already done because it was disgusting and I had been without my car for a month now and then said I could have the AC looked at again but who would bring their car back into that place after getting it back in a condition that looks like it's been being used by someone dirty as their personal vehicle for 2 weeks? I have appreciated most all service I have received from this dealership in the last 3-4 years. That said, I am a bit disappointed with no 'loaner' vehicle as I live approximately 45 minutes south. It was this dealership in the last 3-4 years. That said, I am a bit disappointed with no 'loaner' vehicle as I live approximately 45 minutes south. It was a difficult matter to arrange for a pick up from my wife who was recovering from knee surgery, but managed to get a ride. I was also very surprised that the dealership was willing to charge me close to $5K to repair a 3 inch diameter bulge where the dash had released at the base of the front windshield area. The service rep was very patient, polite and respectful during this time. Thanks More
