Very disappointing experience. My salesman, Jordan, told me multiple times during the process that he hated his job. I felt like I was going to be an easy sell. I had been looking for a mustang convertible for a while and finally fou process that he hated his job. I felt like I was going to be an easy sell. I had been looking for a mustang convertible for a while and finally found the one I wanted here. My wife and drove 3 hours one way to buy the car. The customer relations part of the process was mediocre at best. As I said earlier, my salesman told me he hated his job, and he had no desire to make more money for those above him. The sales manager never came over to introduce himself. I had talked to him on the phone as well. We almost left 3 times over the lack of apparent desire to sell the car--and I was there to buy it. Financing was already done through Capital One. So the bulk of the process was already completed. What was supposed to take an hour or less, took almost 4 hours. The car was advertised as having heated and cooled seats. It does have them, they just don't work. When I asked Jordan about it, he was clueless. He informed me the service department went home at 4:00. The automatic windows do not roll up with one touch. The switch must be held in the up position. After getting home, I found a small tear in the top. Less 2 weeks after buying it, the engine light came on. Edit: This most likely a fuel pressure issue. I am still working on getting it diagnosed. I purchased a warranty and had to call the warranty company because the mileage listed on the documentation was off by approximately 2,000 miles--not in my favor. I think their prep work to sell used cars is to simply wash them. The car was originally listed for sale for about $18k, lowered to $17k, then raised to $21k. I was told they did over $2,000 worth of work on it, but no one could or would show me what that was. In short if you have the opportunity to work with Midtown Kia, do yourself a favor and don't. Worst place i have ever been to!! We have had a horrible experience here at this one particular dealrship on multiple occasions. I will start taking my business somewhere else so we could experience bette experience here at this one particular dealrship on multiple occasions. I dropped my car off for a scheduled service. The Service team was ready to accept my car and they performed the service in a very timely fashion. Absolutely spot on customer service!
