They are a great service department. Got right in and had me out in about 30 minutes. They did not answer the phone I had to make the appointment in person. Wow. First of all, they have had our car for 3 months. They called us a couple of weeks ago and told us we could come get our car. When we arrived, we found out that it was still not fixed, but that they They called us a couple of weeks ago and told us we could come get our car. When we arrived, we found out that it was still not fixed, but that they wanted us to sign for it and take it anyway. The whole reason we took it to them in the first place, (engine shutting down) still hadn't been fixed. We've been told over and over that they would get to it soon. After a complaint to Kia customer service, they were advised BY KIA to begin work on it immediately. Here we are a week later, still, and they have said that they might be able to check diagnostics on it in 5 more days. This is after having Kia customer service contact them again. Before any of this began, we tried to schedule a loaner car for a service appointment back in January. They said they didn't have one available and put us on a waiting list. This was fine, but the car broke down in April before we could get one. Next we were told that they would get one the next week when we went to find out that our car wasn't, in fact, ready to be picked up as they said it was. My wife was then told the following week that Kia doesn't offer that service anymore. They never contact you about anything. You always have to chase them for information. And they either have the absolute worst service department on planet Earth (and yes I've seen military motor xxxxxxin Iraq and saying it was better service) or they are just lazy and lying. This service department has singlehandedly steered me and anyone I will ever talk to about cars for the rest of my natural life away from the Kia brand. Congratulations that's no easy task. I love my car, it's been great. But once this is done, never again. We now hate a car that we can't have or use thanks to it's brand representation at this place. You guys are atrocious. Way to drag a good thing down. To sum this whole experience up, I'd say that you guys at Midtown Kia are an absolute failure. You have all failed our vehicle, our family, and your very brand. So give yourselves a big pat on the back for being one of the worst experiences of my whole life. More
