Denied paperwork Although my car was covered under warranty, I was denied paperwork pertaining to my vehicle. I was advised the paperwork I could not have was/were, Kia Documents. I asked if the vehicle belonged to me, [which it does], and the work done to my vehicle was all on the paperwork and included the name and notes of the service tech that worked on my vehicle on specific pages, how was I not allowed to have all paperwork pertaining to the work done on my vehicle? The lady at the service counter could give me no other explanation other then they were Kia Documents. I have had similar problems with this dealership in the past. I had an extended warranty I purchased from day one off the showroom floor that was not honored as per the extended warranty agreement. In this case it was because they did not have the paperwork at the dealership and would have to obtain a copy from another location. The end result, resulted in the dealership only offering to pay half of that bill, in which they should have been responsible for the entire amount. Now all in all, I am left with a vehicle that has not hit 100,000 miles with a replaced motor and still owing money on it. The car does not run the same now, nor will it ever run the same. Other extenuating problems can and will occur due to the change of motor and parts that had to be repaired/replaced. I’m very unsatisfied with my over all experience with this dealership and will never do business here again in the future. More
Incomplete service I took my car for an oil change and tire rotation. There were a couple of minor recalls as well. Recalls complete and oil changed. I sold the car that week and then received a call from buyer that one of the tires needed replacing. This would have been seen had the service technician performed the task he signed off as complete. Extremely disappointed I brought my Kia in for a recall on the door latches and was told it would take about an hour. Two and a half hours later I was given my car back with I brought my Kia in for a recall on the door latches and was told it would take about an hour. Two and a half hours later I was given my car back with broken trim around my gear shifter, grease and hand prints on my windows and an air leak on the passenger side window. I called right away to see if I could bring it back to at least get the wind noise corrected. I was told to bring it back on Monday. So I make yet another 70 mile trip there and back only to be told that there was nothing they could do to repair it and that I needed to purchase new weather seal and trim and that it wasn’t part of the repair they made. I left there and took it to a body shop and asked what they would need to do to replace the latches. The first step mentioned was pulling the window and regulator. After explaining my issue they removed the door panel and adjusted the window regulator and stopped the leak in about 15 minutes. My New Kia Experince Since I 've had this new vehicle I 've been ran around quite a bit which I didn't appreciate. But the Dealership did make things right.
