Got a new horn. It sounds like a clown horn, a Kia issue. My new car had a defective horn. The service center ordered me one and when it came in that week, they replaced the defective one. As a single mother who’s credit was poor, I’ve had to settle with buy here pay here places for the last 7 years, but those days were over when I said yes to Dom at Midtown Kia. I finally have a great start at rebuilding my credit. Thank you Dom so much for taking your time and making my first car with a dealership smooth and successful. I would highly recommend! The person who answers the phone and greets you when you first walk in the front door is essential to a business. If I don’t feel welcomed immediately and made to feel at ease, I will never go to the second step of making an appointment, therefore, I’ll never meet, the salesman I was inquiring about. Having said this, I was highly impressed with my first contact at this office. I honestly don’t think I’ve met a nicer staff anywhere. More

Incomplete service I took my car for an oil change and tire rotation. There were a couple of minor recalls as well. Recalls complete and oil changed. I sold the car that week and then received a call from buyer that one of the tires needed replacing. This would have been seen had the service technician performed the task he signed off as complete. Denied paperwork Although my car was covered under warranty, I was denied paperwork pertaining to my vehicle. I was advised the paperwork I could not have was/were, Kia Documents. I asked if the vehicle belonged to me, [which it does], and the work done to my vehicle was all on the paperwork and included the name and notes of the service tech that worked on my vehicle on specific pages, how was I not allowed to have all paperwork pertaining to the work done on my vehicle? The lady at the service counter could give me no other explanation other then they were Kia Documents. I have had similar problems with this dealership in the past. I had an extended warranty I purchased from day one off the showroom floor that was not honored as per the extended warranty agreement. In this case it was because they did not have the paperwork at the dealership and would have to obtain a copy from another location. The end result, resulted in the dealership only offering to pay half of that bill, in which they should have been responsible for the entire amount. Now all in all, I am left with a vehicle that has not hit 100,000 miles with a replaced motor and still owing money on it. The car does not run the same now, nor will it ever run the same. Other extenuating problems can and will occur due to the change of motor and parts that had to be repaired/replaced. I’m very unsatisfied with my over all experience with this dealership and will never do business here again in the future. More
