I took my 2016 Kia Sedona to Midtown after I had problems accelerating while driving at the posted speed limit on the interstate. After leaving my vehicle at Midtown for several days, they could not find an accelerating while driving at the posted speed limit on the interstate. After leaving my vehicle at Midtown for several days, they could not find any issues with the van, although there is a known problem with some Kia vehicles having an acceleration issue. I paid for the diagnostic test and was without my vehicle for ~ 5 days. Midtown did not provide a courtesty vehicle while they had my car. The van was not driven after I brought it home from the service department but when I started it, it had a sound coming from the engine that the service department had not previously diagnosed/evaluated. THis sound was not there prior to the initial acceleration issue. I was asked to bring my vehicle back to Midtown. They were able to hear the problem but said that Kia was responsible for the issue. James Stassi was respectful and informative whenever I talked to him but I do not agree with whoever at the dealership made the final decision concerning Kia's responsibility. This experience will definitely impact any future decision I make when it comes to purchasing another vehicle. More
