Thanks Bob Hurley I visited Midway Automotive at the request of my wife to look at a vehicle she saw online. I walked onto the lot not expecting to buy a vehicle from I visited Midway Automotive at the request of my wife to look at a vehicle she saw online. I walked onto the lot not expecting to buy a vehicle from Midway. Bob Hurley met me at the door and was pleasant right from the start. Bob simply explained the virtues of the vehicle and let me take it for a test drive. I liked the vehicle but didn't think it was the type of car my wife would enjoy. I asked for a price on the vehicle, as well as, a trade-in value. Gary Stone (Sales Manager) offered a fair price on the vehicle (maybe I could have haggled a little bit more) and an expected trade-in value. I asked for more toward the trade since I had recently installed a new battery and starter. Gary agreed and I sat with Bob Hurley just to let him know that I was still looking around, but that the vehicle did interest me. I left my contact information with Bob and said that I would consider this vehicle as I continued to visit other dealerships. At this point, I realized I like Midway Automotive because there was no pressure. Bob stated information about the vehicle and let me leave without being an overbearing salesman. During the following week, I did not receive badgering calls from Midway, in fact, I didn't hear from them at all. I liked that!! My wife and I continued to visit numerous dealerships and saw some vehicles that we were interested in. However, some prices were too high, some vehicles were seriously high mileage, some salesmen were just not trustworthy. I suggested we go back to Midway to look at the Chrysler 300, which we did. We took the vehicle for another ride and knew we liked it and were going to buy it. After the test drive, we again sat with Bob and explained that we were going to take few days to think about and again, there was no hardcore sales pitch from Bob. Two days later we called Bob, explained that we wanted the Chrysler 300 and Bob took care of everything from there...no problems...no complaining. Gary Stone was true to his word regarding free oil changes, tire rotation and providing $60.00 toward a review of the vehicle by our mechanic. Dave in financing was easy to work with and very knowledgeable (we'll see about any extended warranty program - again no pressure) and Bob Hurley was the champion of the dealership making for a smooth transition from an old rusted out Mercury Sable into a sleek and smooth Chrysler 300. After comparing the two almost identical Volvo's at Midway and another dealership, I ultimately chose Midway because of Herb. Herb Kunins was with me through the entire process, answered all my questions, worked out all the numbers with Gary, that worked best for my financial situation and he even set up my bluetooth before driving off the lot. Buying a car is stressful and a big decision, and Herb's awesome, easy-going personality really made this experience quick, painless and worthwhile. I recommend this place to everyone! KK More
