I went to this dealership knowing exactly what I wanted I went to this dealership knowing exactly what I wanted in a new car. The salesman that my wife and I had been talking to for about a week on the pho I went to this dealership knowing exactly what I wanted in a new car. The salesman that my wife and I had been talking to for about a week on the phone and online passed us on to someone else. That didnt bother me at all, I told him what I was looking for and he listened, yet when it came to actually finding what I was looking for the sales manager tried to add every little thing possible and only offered a fraction of what my trade in was worth. They apparently dont think anyone kelly blue books their trade in to see what it is worth. To make things worse I wanted a particular color and was offered everything but that til they realized i wasnt budging on that. Well, after going back n forth on a deal these morons tried to bait and switch us by sending in the sales manager Jack. This utter idiot comes at us after we decided that the deal was good enough to go with, with a different deal and a much higher price increase, and less for my trade in. At that point we were done. After telling Jack where he can go, we walked off after being there 4 hours. I think everyone involved should thank Jack for killing a deal that was about to be signed. Because of Jack I will never recommend these fools to anyone and I will never go to Midway again. If I ever see him working somewhere else I will turn and walk the other way. More
I went to this dealership based on a recommendation from a friend to see Keith. I set up an appointment for late afternoon to test drive a couple of used cars on the dealers website. When I got there for th a friend to see Keith. I set up an appointment for late afternoon to test drive a couple of used cars on the dealers website. When I got there for the appointment, the first car I wanted to look at was sold, but the other car was ready for me to test drive. We made a decision after test driving a few more vehicles and started the process of buying my car. Ever step of the process we didn't feel like a number. The staff was more than helpful and courteous, even to my family when I was out test driving vehicles. I can't say enough about this place. From the entering the parking lot to talk to Keith, until I drove my new (used) vehicle, was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I would definitely buy another vehicle from this dealer. More
I first dealt with John Riggs who was a complete liar. I was about to walk out the door, as no one appreciates being straight out lied to. However, my hero of the day was Keith Darden. He was honest and r was about to walk out the door, as no one appreciates being straight out lied to. However, my hero of the day was Keith Darden. He was honest and respectful with me while doing his best to get me the car and deal I needed. I was very impressed with his customer service. Keith definitely saved my business. Without him I would have went straight to the next dealership. Thanks Keith! More
I want to start by saying that the service advisor Dragan Perikic was great! This review is in now way reflective of him or the service manager Amy. I have a 2011 silverado 1500 that has had very strange ali Perikic was great! This review is in now way reflective of him or the service manager Amy. I have a 2011 silverado 1500 that has had very strange alignment suspension issues. The truck would randomly pull to the left and right. The front left tire would bounce rather than roll down the road. I explained to the service advisor that it happens and highway speeds. I pointed out to him that 3 of the 4 shocks were leaking, brakes were squeaking etc. I received a call later that afternoon telling me nothing was wrong with the vehicle. I went to pick it up to see that the tech wiped the leaking fluid from the shocks. The receipt says that brake squeaking was normal and the shocks did not leak bad enough to be covered under warranty. The tech had inadvertently left the service bulletin in my truck. The strange thing is that my shocks looked exactly like the picture from the factory service bulletin showing that it should have been replaced. I was going to point that out to the service manager but as I previously stated that the tech cleaned up the leaking shocks. After a discussion with Amy, the dealership agreed to warranty the repair. As I got in the truck and drove away I noticed that the truck was only driven 1/2 of a mile. How can a suspension/steering issue properly be diagnosed, advising me that they could not "duplicate the problem" and that everything was fine and withing spec if they did not drive the vehicle??? I brought it back in today for the warranty repair. I told the advisor, who put it on the work order, that I was having the same issues and the brakes were still squeaking, the alignment/steering issue was still present (although not as bad as it once was) and the non defective shocks were now leaking to the ground. The shocks were replaced as agreed. When I was handed the work order, I noticed that the truck was not driven again.... Again how can you diagnose a highway speed issue when you do not even drive it out of the parking lot. It has become apparent to me that the Midway Chevrolet service department does not take the safety of their customers seriously. i tried to discuss the issue with the service advisor who did not have an answer to any of my questions surrounding proper diagnosis of an issue and the false statement in the work order that the problem could not be duplicated when they did not even drive the vehicle...... You can not tell if there is a highway speed steering/alignment issue or get brakes to squeak when it does not leave the parking lot. I will never buy ANYTHING from Midway Chevrolet in the future. Some other observations. The accessory department is rude and full of misinformation. I was looking to spend $5,000 in upgrades, wheels, tires etc until he lied to me. Their quoted labor to calibrate my speedometer was double that of 2 other dealers in the valley. He tried to tell me that it is a very long and complicated process. It is a 20 minute job at the most according to other dealers. When I told him that other information that I have gathered said the opposite, he became more belligerent and leaned back further in his chair and continued to text someone like he could not be bothered to explain the lie he just told.... I was also told that part number 19159438 (drivers information center) takes 90 minutes to install and an hour to program. When I told him that it is a plug and play unit that required no programming and should only take 20 minutes to install, he rolled his eyes and huffed.... He is the 1st person people see when walking into the building from the service entrance. if it was my business, I would want someone who at least attempted to make a customer feel welcome rather than grimace at you because you bothered him in the middle of a text message to someone.... He could have at least put his phone down while telling me a lie and trying to overcharge me. My advise to anyone reading this is to take your business elsewhere. I should have listened to the scores of people who tried to tell me not to take my truck there. More
I just wanted to say that if it was not for Mr. Keith Darden our saleman at Midway we would have walked away. We Purchased a 2012 Camaro and are very happy with our car. How ever i want to mention that Darden our saleman at Midway we would have walked away. We Purchased a 2012 Camaro and are very happy with our car. How ever i want to mention that Mr. Steve Khouri the new car director quoted me a price over the phone with dealer add-ons to justfy a price hike witch was a lot to us. When we arrived at the dealership all the said mentiond dealer add-ons were not on the vehical so we said that we did not want them and did not want to pay for them. A price reduction i thought was in order. Instead Steve took the liberity and delight in telling me that if i did not like the price quoted i could leave the dealership. He spoke to me and my husband in a challenged mannor and exhibited bullying behavior. I do not think that it is customer friendly to intimadate a customer into buying a new car. Personally i think that is bad for any business! So i want to respectfully say that if you must buy at Midway Chevrolet please request Mr. Keith Darden as your salesman as he exhibits customer respect. More
I was dreading the entire process of buying car,but my experience with Roscoe Gist made it somewhat enjoyable... Great experience and I really felt as if Mr.Gist was pulling for me to get my car.. In the experience with Roscoe Gist made it somewhat enjoyable... Great experience and I really felt as if Mr.Gist was pulling for me to get my car.. In the end I got my car and my payment was $10.00 less than I planned for.. I would absolutely return and buy another car from Midway Chev provided Mr. Gist would be my salesman. More
I was not pleased at all with my recent visit to Midway. I have been a "sitting duck" for 6 days for a final price. I was not sure of the exact amount I grossed on my paycheck and was told to put an amount I have been a "sitting duck" for 6 days for a final price. I was not sure of the exact amount I grossed on my paycheck and was told to put an amount which after reviewing paystubs was quite a difference. When I told the finance dept. I was going to have to bring the car back I was told there was no one with authority to take the car back. I was transferred so many times to so many people. I am literally sick over this experience! Do noyt purchase a car from these dishonest crooks! I can only hope this review will help someone. More
A couple of months ago i called midway chevrolet about warranty on my 07 chevrolet equinox. The engine needed work, since it was coverend under the powerterrain warranty i took it in. I dealt with Cole. warranty on my 07 chevrolet equinox. The engine needed work, since it was coverend under the powerterrain warranty i took it in. I dealt with Cole. My experience here aside from the work getting done at no cost, was not very positive. I waited more than a week for them to work on head gaskets, they did provide me with a rental, but i felt he lied about a few things. I had a file number already with GM about being reimbursed for a $600 towing fee since my car broke down while i was out town. GM agreed to reimburse, but when i spoke to cole he gave me a list of things my car needed to be serviced about. Such as flushing coolants or what not, even though i checked with my mechanic and he said my vehicle was way under the mileage for that kind of work. Well not only did cole "suggested" my car had the work done, he also told me that GM wouldnt reimburse me if i didnt do business with them for these repairs. I called GM and of course they had already processed my check and had sent it. When i confronted this guy he explained he didnt get paid off of warranty work but on extra work that i paid out of pocket. I was very upset and then he proceeded to ask me to not trash him when i receive the survey about my experience with midway chevrolet because if he didnt get a 100% satisfaction review, he would take a 10% paycut for three months. I felt bad for the guy, had i fallen for his crap i would have reported him but i just felt bad for him. When i came home i told my husband, he was extremely upset and threatened to report the guy but never followed through. Anyway, i took my car back into service at midway yesterday with fuel pump issues. Again covered under warranty, i left my car there over night. This time i spoke to daniel, he helped through the process. My car was done quickly and didnt need a rental. I cant say im dissatisfied with the work yet since i havent driven my car for more than 4 miles. We'll see if its completely fixed. My issue this time is that my car is scratched all over. Sure it was dusty when i took it in, but now i have a very noticeable scratch on the hood and a ridiculous amount of tiny scratched all around. Well they washed my car, which i wasnt asked if i wanted it washed. The scratches go in a circular motion assuming they hand dried it or whatever they do. I called daniel and believe me i was extremely upset, he advices i bring it in tomorrow. I will take it there tomorrow but i explained that if i show up tomorrow and if anyone says there is nothing they can do and they arent responsible things will get ugly. Ive already talked to GM since they are very good about checking how everything is going. I explained to them all of the above and they promised to stay informed and stay with me through this claim. So we will see tomorrow what Midway Chevrolet is going to do about my scratched vehicle. More
I would not recommend this dealership. Like many car dealers, these guys are not honest. They'll tell you anything to sell you a car. They screwed me over, promising to give me a $1,000 gift card, but n dealers, these guys are not honest. They'll tell you anything to sell you a car. They screwed me over, promising to give me a $1,000 gift card, but never sent it out and didn't tell me of the matter until forty-nine days after the fact when I had been relying on this source of income, all the while being assured by the Manager that "it's on it's way".... Liars! They didn't return my phone calls, very unprofessional service after the deal. I am not happy with Midway Chevy, and would suggest you shop somewhere else if you don't wont to be lied to. More
We had a horrible experience with this dealership. We waited around for hours, and were run through the hoops regarding the information in which was needed, information was given and then they came back waited around for hours, and were run through the hoops regarding the information in which was needed, information was given and then they came back and needed more, I have never had just a horrible experience buying a car and will never return to this dealership again. It was horrible and I will never recommend anyone to go here unless you want to have your car taken back the day after you bought it because they messed up and didnt even care!!!!!! More
