Had several bad experiment years ago. Everything from stripped lugs to unauthorized work done. But 20 years later thought I’d give them another try. Had a F150 towed in with the thought of a bad starter. Was told by burkhardt that either the motor or transmission was seized. Basically to scrap out the truck. Had it towed to another mechanic who replaced the starter good to go. Highly recommend staying away from this dealership. More
If I could rate them lower than one, I would. I purchased a used 2019 Nautilus online. I spoke with Stephanie and she was easy to talk with. When the car was delivered to me in Indiana there were I purchased a used 2019 Nautilus online. I spoke with Stephanie and she was easy to talk with. When the car was delivered to me in Indiana there were multiple cracks in the windshield. I assumed the cracks occurred in transit. However, when I reported the issue I was informed that was the condition of the windshield when it left the lot. At first the dealership was reticent about fixing the windshield but then said they would repair the cracks. Safelite was contacted. Safelite said there were too many cracks in the windshield and that repairing them would hinder my line of sight in driving. They said the car needed a new windshield. Safelite said they would contact the dealership to get permission. I also contacted Stephanie and informed her of Safelight's thoughts. Safelight said they received permission to replace the windshield. Now, one year later I receive a bill from Safelite for replacing the windshield. I contacted Stephanie. She said they did not authorize it and said the dealership would pay nothing. I was stuck with the bill. I can't recommend Burkart Ford, a dealer that lacks integrity who won't stand behind their product and won't acknowledge that they were contacted. Please beware. Be sure to get everything in writing as their word has no value. I'm more than disappointed and I'm embarrassed for them. I learned an expensive lesson. They are far from trustworthy. When we went in to sign a form they needed we asked a question as to exactly what the $250 fee was looking at. The manager (who we weren't even speaking with) yelled at us & was incredibly rude. Yelled at us to get out & threatened to charge us by the day if we didn't remove the van from the lot immediately! Yelled!! The two other office workers we had been talking to literally put their hands up & backed away. Do NOT take your vehicle here. Especially if you are a woman because it could be dangerous he was so angry. More

Make sure you check the VIN with your insurance company. This will tell you any vehicle history such as BRANDED TITLES,ACCURATE ACCIDENT HISTORY,Etc. Condescending personalities from Aaron and Jack. In and Out In 2 Hours! I live 1.5 hours away from the dealership. I found an F150 online that I was interested in. I emailed with an inquiry on the truck on a Friday eveni I live 1.5 hours away from the dealership. I found an F150 online that I was interested in. I emailed with an inquiry on the truck on a Friday evening. Saturday morning I got a call from Matt Horstman. He was great. Answered my questions. We scheduled an appointment to see and test drive the truck at 1:00pm on that Saturday (knowing the business hours were until 3:00pm). Matt pulled the truck from the lot so it would be ready for us. My wife and I got to the dealership at 1:00pm. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and directed to Matt. Very personable as we were both on the same page with the 2 hours we had to work with. He took care of processing my license for the test drive immediately. We test drove the truck for 10 minutes. Matt had arranged for the valuation of my truck I was considering for trade while we were on the test drive. Matt met us when we got back. We sat down and worked through the transaction. This was a stress free experience. We worked through the price and trade-in value of my current truck. This process was quick. From there, my wife and I met with Ed Pyle to go over the financing. This process took a bit longer but not too bad. Ed is pretty laid back and makes the process pretty pain free. Amazing to see all the additional coverages on a vehicle from the last time I bought. Ed had us getting up from his desk to leave with the truck right at 3:00pm. That's it. A great experience in completing a sale from first seeing the vehicle to leaving the lot (with it) two hours later. More
