Thank you for responding to my concerns. I really wanted to believe that someone cared about losing business since no one seems to really care about your customers. After 6 months of trying to get this mess handled I thought there might actually be some resolution , however, NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT TO ME. I'm not sure who " the appropriate associate" is, but I have heard from no one. I hoped that you simply wanted to do what was right. When I initially came into your dealership I explained that my mother had recently passed away and I am now caring for my 90 year old grandmother so I wanted a nice vehicle that I would be able to get her wheelchair in and ride her around comfortably. I test drove the car and was assured that it only needed ' a minor' repair to ensure the longevity of the car not a new engine so that it will run at all. Yes, I should have left it alone with any work being needed but I trusted and actually researched what I was told the problem was and decided to go ahead with the sale. So congratulations, you lied to, manipulated and capitalized on a grieving lady that is trying to care for her grandma. After the few conversations I had with you all it became obvious that you knew the repairs needed were not minor at all but you REFUSE to make things right for the sake of doing the right thing or even to make a customer happy so that they will continue to give you their business and even refer others to you. I am shocked that you don't even seem to care about a negative impact on your business!!!! The very least it seems you would do is actually follow up with what you said you would do. Your actions are appalling ! It really does not seem like you appreciate my business nor do you look forward to gaining my support.

I would also like to express my appreciation to Mike in your New Car Sales. Mike didn't even know what all had transpired with this ordeal but quickly offered an apology for such a negative experience and his assistance in bringing it to a close. Thank you for making things right. I am relieved that the man at the top values the PEOPLE that choose to give you their business. I would definitely be comfortable working with Mike to purchase a NEW vehicle.

Update: The situation is resolved. After a couple months it seems management saw fit to cancel and refund the warranty I didn’t want. I received a couple voicemails from them about discussing it but I was clear on my request and left it in their court. They apparently canceled it and reduced my loan balance by the amount I was charged. While I don’t have a good opinion of how the numbers game is played I am satisfied that they fixed this. I don’t have an issue with a business making profit but I don’t want to play games or be a detective to get the real price. If you want $14,000 for a car don’t offer it for $10,000 but back end me for the other $4,000. I might buy it for $14k but not if I was told $10k. I do love the car and now I love the deal. They may or may not want my business but with caution in finance I would buy from them again. The salesman (Gary) was a nice guy and really wasn’t part of what happened in finance.
