We have purchased 2 Camrys in 2012 from Mike Erdman Toyota in Merrit Island Florida. We live in Orlando and drove the extra miles because of the friendly service and no hassle buying. Spear Mowbry was our salesman both times for the Camry sales...and he is very thorough...calling us to check and be sure we were satisfied and ask if we had any questions after the sales. We have also had good experiences with the service department all 3 times we have been in for service. The employees overall are so nice. Today...we walked the new car lot while we waited and were also treated so nicely by Pierre Rendel as he showed us new vehicles...and he as well promised to call us when new cars arrived that we are interested in. When it seemed that the part was might be coming in late, Jim offered me a courtesy ride home which I appreciated very much. Took truck in for an oil change. Guy on line pulled the plug on transmission and then proceeded to over fill engine with oil. Brought truck back with engine light on, engine running really rough, transmis plug on transmission and then proceeded to over fill engine with oil. Brought truck back with engine light on, engine running really rough, transmission slipping, and/or not shifting. They kept the truck over night to service the engine and tranmission correctly and gave me a loaner car. I like Erdman Toyota and their service department and they did right after making a mistake but I'm still leary about either or both the engine or transmission having problems in the future. More
I went in for an oil change with no appointment. I was told it would be a couple hours before they would be done. In less than an hour Chtis found me to tell me they were through and they had even washed told it would be a couple hours before they would be done. They are very friendly and helpful there. My salesman is Gary Hope and he always comes over hen he sees me to ask how things are and do I still enjoy the car. Who could ask for anything more? Well treated while waiting. Was offered a ride to a mall while waiting. Work was extensive but was promptly completed this time. Problems were corrected which were mentioned the last time I took the vehicl while waiting. Work was extensive but was promptly completed this time. Problems were corrected which were mentioned the last time I took the vehicle for maintenance/repair, when in addition, a new problem of great annoyance was introduced (car began to pull to the right only AFTER I had it worked on last month! Previously not a problem. This was reported in the evaluation similar to this one which I filled out for my previous visit (NOTE: NO ONE called me back on follow-up on this serious problem!). Had a dome light problem that was not cleared up then, but was fixed this time. A small annoyance, but nevertheless needed repair. Washing the car is a courtesy service that is appreciated, but not if problems mentioned to the service manager are not fixed. This time I had Melinda as Service manager. She was courteous and efficient, and responsible for all repairs. I would like to have her work on my car every time, if possible. More
On short notice Ms. Stallings arranged for an appointment on March 11, to complete some needed work on our Camry. In addition, we were provided a lender car and were able to complete some grocery shopping w on March 11, to complete some needed work on our Camry. Finally, we were given a price break from the original quote and the Camry was ready, on time, with a nice wash job, to boot. From the moment I drove into the service area, I was treated with extreme courtesy and professionalism. The whole process was seamless and straightforward. I used to take my cars to a different Toyota dealership for service but was displeased with how I was treated. This led me to Mike Erdman, where I have had nothing but excellent service experiences. If this continues, as I expect it will, then I will likely buy my next car from this dealership! More
