Bill Verosko, my salesman, worked the deal for me based on what I told him I wanted and kept me informed by phone as to the status, and Paul Quintana in Finance had loan docs ready when I walked in to pick up the car. Slightly better price than the competition. We did an apples to apples comparison of the exact specs for a customer order with each Chevy dealer and got the quotes. Then we went back to them all for a second, best and final quote. The others all came down a little but this dealership said they couldn't come down any more and they did all they could up front. I respect that. None of the others got quite down to this price. though after learning we placed the order with Al Serra one of the others did come back (for a third time) and said they would match it and beat it by $75. We have integrity too, and though this other dealer is about a ten minute drive from our home and Al Serra over an hour, we stuck with them as we respected the way they handled the quoting (plus, of course, the good pricing). First Zabrina, then Bill, were really helpful and nice to deal with. Lastly, going through the Finance office was painless and much quicker than I was expecting. I appreciated not having any add-ons pushed on me. More
I brought my 1986 Corvette in due to what appeared to be either out of timing or spark plug mis-assignment. Several tests were run and no problem found and no charge. Made an appointment for my wife's Cadillac STS and had the coolant system flushed and a fog light replaced in a timely manner. Just thought the price to replace a bulb was extensive. All 3 employees I dealt with were very friendly and professional, even in the heart of price negotiations. Terrible customer service. I went in to compare prices with other local dealerships and I guess that is frowned upon with Al Serra? When I want to buy a TV aren't I allowed to check Wal-Mart, Target, and with other local dealerships and I guess that is frowned upon with Al Serra? Jeff Eberhart got very frustrated when I said I didn't want to buy the truck on the same day that I went to look at them. They didn't even have the truck that I wanted to buy at the dealership, how can that nut expect me to buy a truck that I haven't even sat in? Will not be buying from these guys any time soon. More
I bought my Tahoe new in 2004 from Al Serra and have always taken it back for service and maintenance needs. I have always been treated with professionalism and caring. I have had so much confidence in this dealership that I went back in 2011 and bought a new Camaro, which also goes to Al Serra for all of its needs. Their prices are not out of line with other repair facilities and they have great customer service. Always a great group of people to work with. More
