Mistakes on my purchase of a Ford C-Max When I purchased the car in November of 2014, I refused the offer of clear coat and interior finish package from the salesman Ray (who was a good sale When I purchased the car in November of 2014, I refused the offer of clear coat and interior finish package from the salesman Ray (who was a good salesman). When my credit union reviewed the purchase agreement, Longmont Ford had put back the charges (around $600) for these services. I am glad that I had the credit union review my papers as I was of the understanding that they were removed. They also neglected to give me the inflator for the car tires (instead of a spare tire) and I had to go back to Longmont Ford and request it (a 3 hour trip). Last Friday, I spent 3 hours at the motor vehicle department trying to get the plates (after exhausting two temp tags) only to find from the clerk that Longmont Ford had not collected the proper amount of sales tax and they would have to wait (at which time the clerk allowed me to purchase a third temp tag for my car - Maybe it will be ready on 20Feb2015 when the tag expires). Today (1/28/2015) when I spoke with Lapleta at the dealership, she told me that she was not perfect, even though she tried to do her best. That is fine, but I didn't call to hear excuses, I wanted to have resolution. This dealership has lousy customer service and my buy experience has not been pleasant. More
