The reason I ended up at Longmont is I had spotted the type of vehicle I wanted, a small SUV and it was in my price range as I was paying cash. I give them my offer and they come back wanting more which means they assumed I had more than what I was offering. If I did have more I would have been going for as new a model as I could. At one dealership I had explained my situation and how I came about having the money to purchase in cash. The salesman gave me a funny look and came back with the worst vehicle they had on the lot. My son and I continued to look on line and found the vehicle I have now. Ed listened to what I wanted, understood the situation after my telling him the same story I had told the other dealers and after it was all said and done I rode away in the vehicle I wanted. Instead of trying to get me to work with him, he worked with what I could do. If things go right with some funds I am waiting on, I may go back to upgrade to the RAV4 that I wanted.
