They were great upfront and diagnosed the issues quickly and got back to me with the list of the repairs needed and even included a video which was nice. But as soon as I told them the repairs would be warranty related, it felt like I began to be treated like a 3rd class citizen. The communication became almost non-existent and I had to keep calling for updates. They had the truck for a MONTH and every time I reached out it was the same “it’s still being worked on” or “should be wrapped up tomorrow” with no explanation of why the work was taking so long. Then when it came time to pay, the prices in the link they provided for all the work had increased about $1200 in total. One job in particular went up $400+. And when I brought it up they said it could be because it was parts related. I told them there’s no way the parts on every individual item I needed replaced had gone up. Luckily I had printed out the original list with the prices and provided it to them as proof. They played dumb and stated “oh gee, we don’t know how that happened.” This was the worst experience with any shop that I have ever had. These repairs weren’t even anything crazy (exhaust manifold gasket, timing cover gasket, and door lock actuator) and it took a month with parts that were readily available. It’s like they didn’t care about me since I wasn’t paying out of pocket and I was inconveniencing them by using a warranty. I ended up paying about $2400 out of pocket due to warranty claim restrictions. But the price would have been an extra $1200 if I hadn’t printed out the original list of repair costs they sent. Then when I went to pick it up they charged me a fee to use a card and when they sent an employee to pull my truck around after paying, I waited for about 10 minutes for the guy to come back before I just went out and found the guy talking up some girl customer next to my truck while he kept me waiting. Usually, I wouldn’t care about that, but with the way I had already been treated thus far, this really drove the knife in and soured me on this dealership. This group of people in the service department was just the worst. Spend your money at a local shop or other dealers service department. The customer service here is a real bummer. More
