I went in on a Friday JUST to test drive the Ford Escape and the Ford Edge. Joey was very patient with me and my friend, explaining the features and allowing us to test drive multiple cars. When I drove a car I liked Joey found that the car had just been sold. We sat to discuss what I was looking for and Joey FOUND my car. It was at a sister store and he told me he could get the car to Longmont the next day. This car was the EXACT car I was looking for. My list wasn't that long, but important features I wouldn't budge on; heated seats, 6-cylinder, leather seats, tan interior, blue exterior, and low mileage. I arrived on Saturday afternoon with 2 girlfriends (for support). I drove the 2011 Ford Edge and pretty much fell in love. We got back to the dealership and Joey and Josh made it possible for me to buy my dream car. I drove my car home and I could not be happier. We went to Longmont Ford to look at their two used Priuses, because their prices beat everyone along the Front Range. Steve Formby was really helpful and low key. He took us on two test drives and left us to make up our minds. The only pressure to buy came from two other shoppers, who both wanted to buy a Prius that day. A gorgeous white Prius came out of their shop, so newly inspected it wasn't even clean yet. We fell in love with that car, and the other shoppers were happy with the gunmetal gray Priuses. We were given first choice because we arrived first. Nice to be respected that way. We sat down with Steve to make the purchase and by the time the paperwork was signed, not long at all, the car was sparkling clean and ready to go. We were shocked to take our vehicle that same afternoon. Steve even ordered hubcap covers, as our car was missing two. Longmont Ford, as far as I understand, earns the $595 in "dealer fees" on used cars, and that is about it. They don't mark up, they don't haggle, the price is the price. They fully inspect their used cars. I figure I saved $1,500 to $2,000 by shopping at Longmont Ford. They even had a former Toyota salesperson, who gave us great tips on driving and understanding the Prius. If you want a great car fast, and the best price any dealership offers, go to Longmont Ford. After checking the vehicle and taking it for a drive, we decided to purchase it. Shanann met with us again after we had signed all the papers in the finance dept., and again went over the vehicle, making sure that we were comfortable with everything. (seat, mirrors, radio, etc.) She also took the time to Sync the vehicle with my phone, which was very much appreciated. Not sure if I would have been able to do it myself.
