F350 Purchase Experience Longmont Ford and Brent Rogers were recommended to me by a good friend. I went to the dealership planning to look the place over, learn a little more Longmont Ford and Brent Rogers were recommended to me by a good friend. I went to the dealership planning to look the place over, learn a little more about the F250 and F350 product lines and see what was available with an 8' bed. At this point in time I was deciding what Ford dealers with which I wanted to negotiate (anticipating the typical haggling, distortions, games, etc.). It turned out all of the 2017 F250 8' beds were gone (with the basic equipment I desired) and only one F350 remained which would meet my minimum requirements. Brent indicated he believed he might be able to offer as a overall discount on this specific vehicle. I had conducted enough research and knew enough from previous negotiations, to realize the proposal would be very aggressive on Longmont Ford's part; and substantially better than what most other dealer's were claiming as "great deals". My wife and I decided to more carefully examine and drive the truck. Based upon this experience we asked Brent to work up a price and we went home. The final offer was within the range of what Brent indicated, and very fair to me as the customer while also fair to the dealership. I confirmed my suspicions with respect of Longmont's profit and accepted the offer with minimal requested change (that was accommodated). This has to best easiest, most pleasant new car negotiations I have experienced. I am fully aware of the likely profit Longmont Ford realized with this purchase, but profits are critical to any businesses survival. As a customer, I want "value" for the fair profit a business must secure, something Brent and Longmont Ford have delivered on extremely well to date! While I have received a "bigger discount" by dealing at the end of the year an month, so far I have never received a better value! Even in my previous business experience, having negotiated numerous contracts, the way Longmont Ford operates was in the top 1%! More
