I leased by Subaru approximately two years ago. I absolutely love the car itself, but the service at Mike Shaw Subaru is just as great. My windshield wiper wasn't working at one point last year and absolutely love the car itself, but the service at Mike Shaw Subaru is just as great. My windshield wiper wasn't working at one point last year and they said to come right in and they fixed it right away! I just had the 15,000 mile service and it was done in the time they said it would be done and they even washed my car as well! Kathy, the employee at the service desk was engaging and even made my grumpy daughter smile! Thanks so much, I honestly think from now on I will always purchase my vehicles at this dealership! More
My wife and I went in to look at new vehicles because the lease was up on my wife's car. Cliff had set aside time for us to meet and look at the new cars he had in stock. We were met promptly when we arrived and made to feel comfortable ,offered something to drink and sat down in Cliff's office to discuss our needs. We were shown several vehicles and test drove the one my wife l8iked most. At each step of the process we were treated with respect and concern for our wants and needs. We were never pressured and were always asked if we were comfortable (needing something to eat or drink). This was the easyest decission to get a new vehicle I've had since I was 19 and I walked in and paid cash for my very first new car. More
I had a minor accident due to slick roads and needed the suspension on my Forester repaired. I work from my car as a home hospice nurse. This was much quicker than the 2 to 3 days that I expected. Everyone was helpful and friendly. More

Brought my car in for a recall issue and Dustin let me know that i had missed some previous recalls. He informed me that is was not a problem that he would have his technician get those other recalls done know that i had missed some previous recalls. I asked if he could put on a part i had purchased and for where the part is located i was only charged 20 dollars which was great. They did a free full car inspection and let me know what else they found and gave me a printout description of what is involved and the cost of each item. When I picked up my car they had even washed it which is amazing for just origanlly going in for a free recall fix. More
I called on a Thursday to make an appt. to have service (a recall) done on my Forester. I had an appt. the following Monday morning! Everyone I have contact with is very friendly and courteous, and they are the same with with any other customer who is waiting. They have always served me promptly. The cost for their service seems fair. I purchased my 2009 Forester at Mike Shaw Subaru, but I'm sure I would get the same type of service if I had purchased is from another dealer. Jerry is always friendly and helpful when I take in my car for service. Kathy is wonderful as well & they will take the time to explain things & are very thorough. Although my previous experience with the sales aspect of this dealership was less than pleasing (it was the typical sales-pitch that I didn't find at one of the other local Subaru dealers), I have consisten this dealership was less than pleasing (it was the typical sales-pitch that I didn't find at one of the other local Subaru dealers), I have consistently found Jerry in the service department to be a shining example of the kind of customer service I want to see when I take my car to a dealer for service. Jerry has always shown me kindness and friendliness and has treated me with nothing less than respect. I work in the hospitality industry and my company is known for its high service standards. Jerry would be a welcome addition to my company and is truly a role model for others in his company to emulate. I've never experienced such kind customer service from a dealership in my life and I'm sure that I won't likely find it many other places. Jerry is an asset to Mike Shaw Subaru and I certainly hope that others in the dealership can learn to exhibit the same kinds of customer service behaviors as he does. More
Brought in car for service, had a gasoline smell from under the hood. Service advisor Kathy Nerka said that likely problem was due to cold snap and fuel lines needed to be tightened. Upon further investigation, they quickly found a bad fuel pressure regulator that needed replacement. Kathy explained that the part would be in first thing the next morning, and an employee gave me a ride home. Next day when I went to pick it up, they had it all ready, but I had also brought a coupon for service, so Kathy had to re-write it all up and did so without complaint. More
