Great Customer Service I had bought a 2019 Forester, and thought I was having issues with auto engine off switch. Being new technology on the redesigned Forester, Tim and Ma I had bought a 2019 Forester, and thought I was having issues with auto engine off switch. Being new technology on the redesigned Forester, Tim and Matt worked with the Service Manager Andrew, to come up with a plan to get to the bottom of the discrepancy in how the auto stop switch should work. With the help of a great tech mechanic, Kevin, we were able to bring the confusion about the switch’s operation to an end. Great job guys and great Service department! More

Great experience all around I worked with Rob Oja and Morgan (? forgot last name --I think she is on the internet response team). I discovered some options via the Capital One Car Navigator service which provided great info on everything I was looking for: year, mileage, trim level, detailed feature list, complete CarFax, etc. (One note is that the Mike Shaw site did not clearly sort by trim--but didn't need to use this given the Car Navigator site). Morgan was very helpful proactively following up from my online favorites and we set a time for my visit. There was a little delay (~10 minutes) in finding a sales person to help me but I think it was just because things were busy. Rob was very personable, a great listener, and genuinely concerned with my specific interests and needs throughout our interaction. He respected the fact that I had pre-screened specific cars without trying to upsell me. He did look for other cars that I might have missed in my online search (and I think suggested at least one or two cars) --but was cognizant of what I was looking for and did not stray far from the specs I was looking for. He gladly offered as extensive a road test as I needed to feel comfortable with a decision. One thing I hadn't considered fully was leasing--which we went over as a contrast to buying--but again without any pressure and with useful and relevant things I might want to consider. When it came time to refine a financing package, he was very helpful and again, very respectful of the research I had done beforehand. We were able to negotiate a great service package and loan rate through Subaru (Chase) financing. Totally satisfied with my experience and especially Rob's highly professional, personable, knowledgeable, and engaged approach. More

Ultimately they offered the best price and made the transaction smooth and free of hassle. It was great working with Jonathan Susser, Cliff Swaim, and Josh Anderson. Over the years other brand dealers have tried to sell us hail damaged cars passed off as new, had bait-and-switch deals on cars we'd contracted to buy then be told the car was sold yesterday, and various other scams. We experienced none of these issues with the folks at Mike Shaw Subaru. The research process, staff communication and sales meeting was efficient, stress free and actually refreshingly low-key.
