I had an appointment scheduled for 2:30 PM for both a NYS inspection and a flat tire issue. This was after having recently been serviced on 11/08, so I expected the process to be quick, thinking I’d be there inspection and a flat tire issue. This was after having recently been serviced on 11/08, so I expected the process to be quick, thinking I’d be there for a maximum of an hour. However, I ended up being at the shop for 3 hours. Here’s the timeline of what happened: 2:30 PM: Arrived for the appointment. 4:30 PM: After waiting for 2 hours, I was told that my tire needed to be replaced. 5:00 PM: I was informed that they had just started the NYS inspection. Given that I was expecting the entire process to take about an hour, I’m wondering what happened during the 2-hour wait between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Why was my car not being worked on during that time? More
