I returned to Miller Subaru in Lumberton, NJ because of my comfort level there. I was very pleased as a female when I received unpressured service back in November of 1999. I just purchased my second car from Ed Hughes and found him to be just as great as he was 10 years ago when I purchased my new Subaru Forester 2000. He had a 2006 Subaru Tribeca B9 that came in on tradein a short time earlier. As soon as he showed it to me I fell in love with it. It met all my criteria, and was within my budget. I recommend Ed Hughes and the Miller Subaru dealership to everyone. They are truely non-pressure, and all the employees, from the salesmen, to the finance people, to the every-so-important service department are interested in pleasing the customer. I know they gave me a great deal and I look forward to a long relationship with them. I often stop in just to say hello to the staff and will continue to do so. I already knew all I needed to know about this dealership and pricing before I went to see Ed Hughes. I will continue to utilize their service department with confidence. And I am the envy of all my neighbors now that I am driving this gorgeous car. More

I stumbled upon this dealership over the internet while searching for my Saturn Sky convertible. It is located five hours away from where I live in New York, but I can honestly say the experience I had in searching for my Saturn Sky convertible. Ed Miller, Ron Buchanan, & Alex Hilgetag were all EXTREMELY personable & knowledgeable. Upon entering the showroom, I never once felt bombarded or pressured to purchase my vehicle (like I have upon visiting other dealerships in the past). The entire Miller team is exceptional at what they do. They took care of everything and were on top of there game. I absolutely love my car and I purchased it at a very reasonable cost. I'd purchase another vehicle at this dealership without hesitation!! It was worth the miles it took me to get there! More
When I first saw all the great ratings for Miller Subaru, I wondered if Miller was somehow manipulating the ratings. But the ratings did push us to go to Miller. I first called Miller and asked them what the car we wanted would cost. I was quoted a great price, and I was told that I could order exactly the car I wanted if I could wait around 8 weeks for the car to be made in the factory. When we arrived at Miller, we were told that this was in fact not the case. It was too late to order a 2010 model and too early to order a 2011. The discrepancy between what I was told and what was true is a reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Miller found the car we wanted at another dealership. We were quoted what I consider a very good price for the vehicle. The buying experience was low-pressure, friendly and professional. Miller had the car driven from the other dealership. I thought after the fact they might have shipped the car by truck since we were buying a new car. But I didn't think to ask at the time, and Miller didn't clarify the point. So the new car we bought had been driven 240 miles when we took possession of it. This is a second reason why I give 4 stars. After we bought car, I received an e-mail from Miller asking us if we were COMPLETELY SATISFIED (their caps) with the purchase. And the e-mail encouraged us to go to dealerrater.com and comment. Miller wanted to get a good rating on the survey that Subaru sends you, and they wanted a good rating here. So while Miller does not manipulate the ratings on dealerrater.com, as I suspected early on, they are Internet-savvy and do what they can to get good ratings. Nothing wrong with that, really. In fact, if other dealers understood how easy it is to go online and report on one's negative experiences for the whole world to read, the dealers might not do some of the things they do. More
Had a great purchase experience with Miller Subaru. I had purchased there before, and Jay, the sales rep, remembered by name. He answered my questions, showed me the cars I asked about, and did not pressure me at all. Mark Miller and Ron Buchanan were also very responsive, asking what they needed to do earn the business. They met some very aggressive price quotes from competitors, bringing in the model and color I wanted from another location. Jay even stayed late on a Friday evening to make sure all of the paperwork was completed and that we were checked out and comfortable with the car. Thanks to the entire Miller team! More

Our car buying experience at Miller Subaru was exceptional. Our sales person, Ed Hughes, was extremely knowledgeable. He was a top notch salesman, without being pushy or overbearing. He knew his product line exceedingly well, which was not the case at other dealerships that we visited. My husband worked in the automotive industry at one time, as a mechanic, for a large dealership, so he would have known if Mr. Hughes was not accurate in the information he gave us about the Subaru line. He researched it thoroughly before shopping for one. My father was also a sales person, and I was able to appreciate Mr. Hughes' skills at his craft. When I mentioned that my daughter was planning to go to college for Environmental Sciences, he immediately gave us the specifications that made the Forester a green choice. We were impressed with Subaru's commitment to keeping the planet healthy by not adding to its landfills. When I mentioned that I was a preschool teacher, Mr. Hughes immediately cited the safety features of the vehicle, including back up cameras to prevent running a small child over in a school parking lot. And, of course, he knew exactly what points to make with my husband, who drives a tractor trailer for a living and once worked as a certified mechanic. Mr. Hughes is the main reason that we purchased our Forester from Miller Subaru. He was the first point of contact, and if he was not the complete professional that he was, we would have kept looking. It must also be said that the Business Manager, Joe Gallagher, and the Sales Manager, Ron Buchanan, were equally outstanding. They made a potentially painful process of applying for financing seem effortless. They were able to give us much better terms on our car loan than our credit union could. We know this for a fact, because we went into the dealership to shop, after already receiving a pre-approved car loan from our credit union. Subaru's loan terms included a much lower rate of interest, while asking for substantially less money down. All of the staff that we encountered during our car buying experience at Miller were both friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to Miller, and Ed Hughes, for our future vehicle purchases. With two teenaged children, that will certainly be soon! More
