"Bad communication, broken promises, ghost cars"

Our initial interaction with this dealership was for a test drive of a RAV4. Vladimir was fantastic, really showed us every feature of the car. We had already been dealing with Karina, the online "specialist" with mixed results. Sometimes she would respond to messages, other times not. Once we started trying to work a deal with this dealership, communication was all over the board. We would get a call from Vladimir, he would say the email with car info and specs would be coming in a half an hour, we wouldn't receive anything for a day or more. Once we responded to any emails we did get, there would be no response. Eventually we gave up and let them know we were going to work with a different dealership. A few days later, we received another call from Vladimir, eager to earn back our business. We were clear what we wanted and what we needed to continue working with them. In writing, Vladimir told us they had the vehicle we wanted and were willing to do the deal, including agreeing to the out the door price. We reiterated we would be coming in the next day if he was certain the deal was doable. His response "I wouldn't spend time on it if it wasn't possible". So we showed up the next day, ready to sign the deal and drive away with our new car. Vladimir was with another customer, stating he had no idea we would be coming in that day. Not really a big deal, we hadn't set a firm time, but we had stated clearly we would be in. After some back and forth between the new guy we were assigned to and the room of mysterious managers, it finally came out that no car actually existed. They did not have the car we wanted and had no plans to find one. Their attitude: sorry not sorry. We bought a car from Malloy Toyota the next day, no problems. We will not be going to this dealership again. And we definitely wouldn't recommend anyone else going either.

"Best deal! Scott Fannon great salesman"

I could not have had a better experience than I did at Miller Toyota. Scott Fannon, the salesman I worked with, asked me what type of car I was looking for. He took me directly to the ones that fit what I wanted. When I saw a car I really liked, he still let me know what else was available, but made it easy for me to test-drive the one I was really interested in. I LOVED the car! He explained everything very clearly and made the buying process easy. Both Scott and the financial services guy (I'm so sorry I don't remember his name, started with a V), made me aware of extra services without pressuring me to get them. They answered all my questions and made sure I got the best deal I could. I felt very good about the purchase. If you need a 'new used car', definitely go to Miller!

"Worst Service Experience - Do not service your car here"

Miller Toyota in Manassas, VA is the worst car dealer I have ever experienced with. My newer Rav4 car had an oil leaking all of a sudden and I took it to their Service department this morning but they refuse to fix it. My car has been leaking oil all over their service lane and you can clearly see the oil was spilling all over which was very shocking. Ever their technicians are seeing the oil was dripping from my car but they would not fix it. I then had to drive another 45 minutes to another dealer in heavy morning rush hour traffic. I reported this issue to their Service Lane Manager Dennis Orts but he would not take any action and refuse to service me. This was a life and death situation, as I was driving my new car with no oil. Finally I took the car to another dealer and they took care of it within 15 minutes. I have bought total of 8 cars from different Toyota dealers in last 25 years but I have never seen a worst car dealer like Miller Toyota. Please do not come here and stay away from this dealer. Dear Ryan , Based on your 2016 social media post (included below), we concluded you would heed your own advice; “WorstToyotaDealer Do not Service your Vehicle here in Miller Toyota” and “Please stay away from this dealer.” Additionally, your original post from 2016 is factually incorrect as communicated in our response. Miller Toyota did not refuse to perform warranty repairs. As explained to you in person, Toyota does not allow for a second alignment under its warranty; no alignment warranty remained and therefore no free alignment. Even though you have never purchased a vehicle from us, we offered to work with you on a discounted price but you found our goodwill gesture unacceptable. Miller Toyota encourages social media posts from our customers. However, we take exception to any that are misleading or untruthful. Finally, Miller Toyota reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Customer’s post June 2016: WorstToyotaDealer Do not Service your Vehicle here in Miller Toyota 06/22/2016 Please do not buy or service your vehicle here. I brought my new RAV4 today for service and they would not perform wheel alignment. My car only have 8,000 Mileage. I went to see Service Manager Robert Crook who would not perform a factory warranty. They said this is a different Toyota dealer and there is no such a thing bumper to bumper warranty. Your vehicle was purchased elsewhere and therefore we cannot speak to its delivery condition. Please note that Toyota will only cover a no-charge front end alignment “one time” during the first 12 month/20,000 mile period. During your most recent service visit at 8100 miles, our shop foreman test drove your vehicle with you, found no problems and informed you that there was no warranty coverage for a second alignment. We offered to work with you on a discounted price but you found our goodwill gesture unacceptable. We called first and talked to him and then texted for about a week. I knew he wanted us to get the truck but he was not pushy. I hate pushy. He was kind, considerate, thorough and very knowledgeable! You need more people like Sam! We would buy from him again tomorrow! Overall the BEST car buying experience ever!!
