Toyota took no responsibility My wife came in for a regular checkup and she was shown that the front tires were both showing wire on the inside. This vehicle had been serviced regu My wife came in for a regular checkup and she was shown that the front tires were both showing wire on the inside. This vehicle had been serviced regularly and yet when the front tires showed WIRE after barely half of the expected lifespan of the tires, she was told that this was not Toyota's problem and it would only be the Cooper tire problem if ALL FOUR TIRES had shown wire at the same time. So basically she was told that she would have had to nearly wreck before this would have been anyone's problem beside our own. That means that the 50,000 mile warranty from Cooper is a joke. At my last service before this hot mess, my friend was told that she would have to pay for her 90,000 and 100,000 mile checkups together. Her husband called and suddenly everything was cleared up and she only had to pay for one of the checkups. That tells me that if my wife comes in by herself, she could be charged fees just because she is a woman. This current tire problem created a real time constraint and yet there was no offer to make any kind of discount for the obviously bad tires or use a discount that just magically ended a week prior. So, I can't trust you to take care of my wife if I cannot be there and I can't rely on you to give me the best service to ensure that it is worth my time and money to do these 5000 mile checkups so I will go elsewhere, And by the way, your team pressured my wife to buy tires at the 24,000-25,000 mile marker on these tires. What was the point of buying 50,000 mile guaranteed tires if they have to be replaced at 25,000? More
