Review everything carefully *updated I had a great finance experience. The finance guy was super nice and helpful but my sales experience was awful. I bought a used Volvo S80 and was told I had a great finance experience. The finance guy was super nice and helpful but my sales experience was awful. I bought a used Volvo S80 and was told initially that it came with a warranty but when I came back a day later Adam said that he “misspoke”. And to clarify further, he only told us he misspoke because we asked about the warranty again. Adam also said the alignment would be checked and that it was fine but when I drove the car on the highway after buying it, it was shaking. I then took the car to Mitchell Volvo to have it aligned and balanced (which I had to pay for) and the Volvo tech told me the car had 2 bent rims and Mitchell Subaru balanced the tires wrong and the car was never aligned. Had it not been for Mitchell Volvo I would have never known that there were problems with the car, the same car in which Adam said was fine. Even worse, when I went back to the Subaru dealership to have the rims fixed Adam did not even acknowledge me, he only talked to my father despite me being the person who actually bought the car. UPDATE today I just received a check in the mail for an alignment refund at Mitchell Volvo. While this does improve the way i think about Mitchell Subaru it still does not excuse the fact that they sold me a car which had improper balance and two bent rims and that I took the car to Boston, unaware of the issue. More
