Addressed recall of airbag First time to Mitchell as I own a '06 Saab that had the Takata airbag recall. Walked in to set up an appointment but they said they could do in right First time to Mitchell as I own a '06 Saab that had the Takata airbag recall. Walked in to set up an appointment but they said they could do in right away and only take 20 minutes! What a surprise. If I lived closer, I would look to Mitchell to regularly service my car. More
Caveat Emptor ("let the buyer beware.")- Poster Child Mitchell Auto Group (MAG) is the epitome of Caveat emptor which is a Latin term that means "let the buyer beware." I can’t complain about the purch Mitchell Auto Group (MAG) is the epitome of Caveat emptor which is a Latin term that means "let the buyer beware." I can’t complain about the purchased vehicle’s value of quality + price. However, the overall experience was a blend of bait and switch, unsavory practices. For example, initial mileage quoted on the site was off by 200 miles. Unethically, When I gave them a check to hold the vehicle. Their “top” salesman stated, “We will store the car and no one will drive it.” When I came to pick it up, it had additional 20+ miles on it, no explanations or apologies. This is one example of their culture of contrast and contradictions. Unprofessionally, when you provide an itinerary and fly in to pick up your car but, they still have you waiting for an hour at the airport. Deceitful, Mr. Ernie P. told me, the car had everything throughout the process, when I asked for the car’s extra key. Surprisingly, they did not have it, which will cost me $500+. Honestly, they didn’t sell me a car, I bought it based on its value. It wasn’t the warmth of the experience, which was cold and distant. Sadly, Mitchell Auto Group still practices old school sales tactics on global stage (internet), where a customer have voice to warn fellow consumers. This is my gift to future MAG customers, approach with caution and trust your instincts with them, who lacks understanding building customer relations goes beyond $$$. I wish MAG nothing but success and prosperity in the future….and morals, ethics and values. More
