Great Car-Buying Experience My husband and I had a wonderful experience dealing with Modern Hyundai. Especially after dealing with other car dealerships of other car brands. Af My husband and I had a wonderful experience dealing with Modern Hyundai. Especially after dealing with other car dealerships of other car brands. After the experiences with the other dealerships we were strongly considering either investing our money into the old vehicle we already had to get it running properly, or just going to Carmax where we didn't have to haggle with the prices even if there was no warranty. Modern Hyundai was going to be one of our last attempts to purchase a vehicle for the foreseeable future. Fortunately, I only had to ask ONE time for an out the door price. That was the determining factor in actually coming to test drive the car. When we got there the price of the vehicle was the same price that I was told in my correspondence with the Internet Specialist. There were no unmentioned hidden fees that had not been discussed prior to my visiting the dealership. When I informed the sales manager that I didn't want to attempt to finance through the dealership he said, "No problem", and I didn't feel as though my business was no longer valued. He asked ONE time why I didn't want to finance through Hyundai and I told him I had been through that experience before and because of the sneaky tricks that some dealerships play during that process for my own sanity, I wanted to just use outside financing. He understood and that was that. He didn't try to pressure me or persuade me or make a bunch of unnecessary promises. That made me want to give my business to Modern Hyundai. The sales manager even gave us a partial discount on the dealer fees as an "apology" on behalf of the previous dealerships that we had dealt with and as a sign that Modern Hyundai valued us as a customer. It is small gestures like that that make a difference. I didn't think I would be able to say that I enjoyed a car buying experience but this showed me that not all dealerships live up to their negative reputations. When my husband and I were left alone for a few minutes we even commiserated on how the atmosphere at this dealership was totally different and not as tense from the start. At no point were we pressured by anyone that we interacted with. We only had one issue with this dealership. After the test drive we noticed that there was some scuffing on the bumper of the car. We we were given a few options on how we wanted to handle that. We would either receive a different vehicle with the exact same specs. or the vehicle we test drove would have the bumper replaced. I thought we agreed to get a different vehicle, however we received the vehicle with the scuffed bumper. We didn't have a problem with that, but the bumper was not replaced as agreed upon. It was late in the day when my husband got the car so he didn't notice it until the next day. He called our salesman and they made arrangements to correct the situation, which was done the following week. Other than that we are more than pleased with our experience with Modern Hyundai and so long as they continue to excel in customer service, we will not hesitate to come here when we're ready to go through the car buying process again. I truly hope that customer satisfaction remains a top priority. More

I've gone back twice and both times the guy who sold me the car was not there so I still haven't received my full tank of gas. Kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth. More
