After considerable research on various SUVs, I decided to purchase the 2021 Mazda CX5 signature trim. Recently, 3 vehicles came up for sale at different dealerships. Before making a decision, I wanted to drive each SUV. I started my day at Modern Mazda. My associate was Sal Bernacchi. I explained to him I was looking at 3 CX5s and I would like to take the SUV out for a drive. I liked Sal right off. He was soft-spoken, very polite and considerate. We went for a drive and Sal answered all my questions. By his detailed answers, he demonstrated an in depth knowledge of the vehicle. After the drive, we sat down and discussed the SUV. I had every intention of moving on but I really liked the atmosphere of this dealership. It was very relaxed, no hard sell. In your face sales associates. After meeting with the manager and agreeing on a price, I decided to end my search and go with the small town dealership and Sal. A week later I returned to. Modern Mazda to purchase the CX5 and Sal was out washing my windows on my SUV. My whole experience at Modern went very smoothly and I’m very happy with my purchase. Also, I’m glad I got to work Sal.
