Can't rate this place low enough! They just tried to scam my daughter on repairs. They clearly haven't even looked at the car. Ebrake locked up on passenger's side. It is a known defect with the car, but no one shared that info at time of purchase. We found out when it locked up. My daughter was told that she needed repairs to drivers side ebrake and brake pads and rotors for rear wheels. When she asked about the passenger side they didn't seem to know anything about it. The brake pads were replaced the week before the ebrake locked up. Did they put some trashed brakes on her car in order to pull this scam? Photos were requested, it's been over an hour and we are still waiting. I am guessing they are trying to rig something up or come up with a good story. They have had the car for two and a half weeks before contacting her. Getting in contact with anyone is near impossible. My daughter has paid to have tires rotated at this location approximately 3 times. When she went to purchase new tires (from a different company), the mechanics explained that her tires have never been rotated. Excuse me? I believe that is called theft, and if I can find a way to press charges trust me I will. DO NOT PURCHASE A VOLKSWAGON AND DO NOT EXPECT SERVICE FROM THIS LOCATION! Just FYI: The vehicle is a Taos, do not get one of those pieces of junk especially. More

Set an appointment for same day service for 5/18 and dropped the vehicle off on 5/17. Was never notified that the vehicle was "ready". Showed up around 8am on 5/19 only to find that they sort of fixed the issue and created a new one. Radiator cooling fans worked when the car was dropped off and now they don't after they worked on my car and refused to fix the issue and still charged me after messing up my car. Service advisors were extremely rude and couldn't get anyone on the phone at the vw AND mazda stores. When I walked in neither advisor would acknowledge I was in front of them and continued to play on their phones for about a minute until they realised I was there. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR MONEY AT MOFFITT VW, MAZDA, AUDI, OR PORSCHE ** the service manager was covering at the service desk when I dropped off the car and she was relatively friendly. More
This service department is the absolute worst, bordering on criminal. Maybe it's because they know they are the ONLY Certified Volkswagen service center within any conceivable reasonable distance that they on criminal. Maybe it's because they know they are the ONLY Certified Volkswagen service center within any conceivable reasonable distance that they think they can get away with such horrendous service. Every single time I take my Volkswagen in to get serviced, it comes back with a new problem. And these problems always lead to another problem, then another, and another. I live about 100 miles away from the service center, and more often than not, the Check Engine light comes on before I can make it home. For those times that it doesn't, it's sure to come on within the next couple days. I had another mechanic take a look at it after Moffitt charged me over $1000 to fix a problem that they caused (which they didn't even fix), and that mechanic found "obvious signs of sabotage" in different areas of the engine, fuel lines, etc.; as he put it "things that didn't make any sense to occur normally, since other parts around it were completely fine." Loosened hoses, loosened bolts, things that seem to have been done deliberately that would cause major problems in the future, but would take time to progress. After paying him to fix what Moffitt broke, he also fixed all signs of sabotage for free. After that, my car ran like it was new again. No issues at all. I would like to say that would be the end of it, but it's not. The most recent issue going in is the 90k mile scheduled service. Since my vehicle is a convertible, it requires the seals to be lubricated annually, at the very least. So I request this service as well. But they don't do it because they claim that my convertible top doesn't work. It worked fine when I had it sent to them, but now they claim that it is magically broken?? And now I'm going to have to PAY THEM to fix something that worked when I sent it to them, because they know that no one else will even touch a Volkswagen convertible top. They will find ANY way, ANY WAY AT ALL to break your vehicle. Because they know Volkswagens are notoriously difficult to work on, and they are the only Certified Volkswagen service center around. So they will screw you repeatedly, blatantly, and unapologetically. Even now, the service manager will not return my phone call, so they have no qualms with delivering horrible service, zero communication, and charging you out the nose for it. The entire service department needs to go. Except Whitney. She's nice. More
I left the dealership after an oil change. Drove home which is 90 miles and today there is oil all over my garage. The undercarriage of my car is soaked with oil. They obviously do not know how to put an oil plug back in. This is a brand new car - 2021 Jetta. There is no oil left in my car. This is the 3rd incident at this dealership. I would stay far away from there. More
Can’t speak for sales, but the service department leaves much to be desired. They rarely answer their phones after being transferred and I had my appointment canceled twice. After I finally did get an appointment it was later canceled after I was told all the technicians would be taking time off... I do not recommend them. More

Great People I've dealt with Sales and Service many times. Purchased 2 new Mazdas and 3 new Volkswagens. My family has also purchased numerous new and used vehicle I've dealt with Sales and Service many times. Purchased 2 new Mazdas and 3 new Volkswagens. My family has also purchased numerous new and used vehicles at Moffitt. I love to see the same faces and that it's a family owned, local business. I'll keep coming back! Thanks guys! More

I have owned both Mazda and Volkswagen and I have read some of the other reviews and I do not agree. I have always had a good experience with Moffitt. I have owned both Mazda and Volkswagen and they have always made it a pleasure. Ask for one of "the Jennifers", there is more than one. So I deal with one Jennifer for Volkswagen and one Jennifer for Mazda. I have NEVER had an issue getting in touch with service. If I can't get them on the phone immediately when I call in, I leave a message and they return the call. I also take advantage of email. Anyway, everyone is great. Mr. Art the shuttle driver is amazing. You will not be strangers long! More
