Everything was fine right up until the bitter end with the finance manager where all of the extra warranty coverages are offered. I declined them all, but was then offered two for free. When I see the actual contract the payment is the same but the two “free” items were actually over $1000 each. I understand there’s a lot of juggling of numbers in all deals, but that came across as the incentives for the upselling of add-on warranty items came ahead of the dealership’s actual profitability on the sale of the vehicle. If that much could be backed out of the sale price to add the warranty items, why not just offer a better price in the first place? More

Arrived for the scheduled appointment and had to wait around 10-15min for a representative to check me in because there were only two available on a Monday morning. I was at the dealership for about 20 minutes when I took my wife to meet Jake. I gave him our price and he came back with that price. There was no back and forth haggling. Service was pretty good, but a few things were missed. I paid for a tire rotation, but my tires were never rotated. I can tell because the plugged tire is still on the left front, right where it was before paid for a tire rotation, but my tires were never rotated. I can tell because the plugged tire is still on the left front, right where it was before entering the shop. The air pressures in all 4 tires were never regulated (one at 39psi and the others were left at 31 psi, all 4 should be at 35psi for my Malibu). Finally, even though I got the oil changed there was no new oil change sticker put up in the top driver corner of windshield. I’m assuming the mechanic may have forgot some things when he noticed how bad my brakes were and was focusing his attention on that issue. More
