I called and made an appointment to have service check my car for possibly transmission problems because it wasn’t shifting properly. Upon arrival I was told it would take 48-72 hours for a diagnosis. I wasn car for possibly transmission problems because it wasn’t shifting properly. Upon arrival I was told it would take 48-72 hours for a diagnosis. I wasn’t happy that the appointment setter didn’t advise me that I may be without a car for 48-72 hours. I work during the week and need a car to get to work. I wasn’t offered a rental and when I asked if a rental was possible the advisor offered a Lift instead. After a minimum of 24 hours had gone by, I called the advisor and asked if there was any update because I can’t be without a car. He said it would take 48-72 hours to get an update for me and I told him I needed a car. He told me he could cancel the service and I could pick up the car. I told him that I would need to pick up my car since he wouldn’t give me a rental. So he said he would go ahead and cancel the service. I just needed a rental and he wouldn’t help me with that. So I picked up my car and plan to take it to another dealership. I haven’t always liked going to the Monrovia dealership for service but sadly will need to go else. More

Overall good service. Lack of keeping customer informed on progress is frustrating. 14 days and I had to call all the time to get updated.
