Enjoying new car, wish price was better discussed Andre and the rest of the Morrie’s team did a great job of putting me in a new car, and I’m happy with my new purchase. I needed this to happen quick Andre and the rest of the Morrie’s team did a great job of putting me in a new car, and I’m happy with my new purchase. I needed this to happen quickly, and they did that for me. My only feedback and my only frustration is that price was never discussed. That’s also on me because I went in with the thought the price I saw on the Morrie’s site was going to be the price I was going to be paying, but when I signed the final paperwork, it was $2500 different from the price on your site. To me, that’s not the Morrie’s best price as advertised, but at that point, I needed to get to another commitment so I signed the paperwork. Again, that’s on me, but I do wish price was better discussed with me. This was the first time I have purchased a car from a dealer, so needless to say, I learned a lot about making sure price is clearly communicated from the onset. Let me be clear, though: I would still recommend Andre because he didn’t try to upsell me based on what I laid out as what I wanted/needed in a car. More
Long Distance Internet Sale We were moving internationally and wanted to have a car purchased and waiting for us as we still had some distance to travel. It took a solid week to get everything organized and only then because a sales manager stepped in to help. We had outside financing yet Morrie’s still insisted on running their own finance workup. It took 4 days of repeated requests and eventually speaking with a sales manager to get a buyer’s order sent to us. Ken was very helpful. Meanwhile our rep was saying payment details were needed before the buyer’s order could be completed. That’s incorrect. We asked that as much paperwork as possible be completed before the day of pick up. It still took us 2 hours to get out of the showroom. I also had a difficult time reaching our sales rep by phone. It always went to voice mail. In contrast we purchased another Hyundai with a different dealer to be waiting on us also. The transaction was completed within 24 hours and we were out of the dealership with keys in 30 mins. More
