It would have been a half hour drive home and back with my wife. Instead, I was given the keys and told to drive it home and show her. I did, and she loved it. The price was great, the information given to me was very thorough, and I had no problem coming back to the dealership with a check for the car. The car had a squeaky belt but Morrie's 394 Hyundai took care of the problem at no charge to me. I initially came in to look at the car because of the professional photo shoot obveously taken of the car. It was a much better look than I got from any other dealer in Minnesota by looking at other websites. I thought, "well, if the photo shoot is this professional, that reflects well on their overall attitude toward used cars". The car has low miles and had new tires put on it before I bought it and I just love it. My wife and I will be going back to Morrie's 394 Hyundai for our next car and our daughter's first car. Exceptional dealership from the sales department to the service department. More
I had called in the dealership asking about a 2007 Lincoln MKX that I had seen on Morries.com website. Melissa said that the car had go to auction but would see when it would be back to the dealership Lincoln MKX that I had seen on Morries.com website. Melissa said that the car had go to auction but would see when it would be back to the dealership. I had expressed that I really would be interested in this car and if it looked as good as it did on the internet and we could work things out I would move forward to purchase this car. Melissa then called me back and said they are pulling the car from auction and would have it back to the dealership within 30-40 min. I was so impressed that they did that and went out of there way to be able to show me the car. Had a very good experience, every time I walked in the people who i had been introduced to all said HI to me by my 1st name. Financing got me a better rate then they had originally told me over the phone, and the day I went to to purchase my car, i checked the internet one last time and it was $400 cheaper and they matched the internet price. VERY GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! More
I brought in my Hyundai Sonata to this dealer, it is where I bought the car, to have the 30,000 mile service done. They messed up my alignment, I had to bring it back to be redone, they messed up my flu where I bought the car, to have the 30,000 mile service done. They messed up my alignment, I had to bring it back to be redone, they messed up my fluid levels, I had to bring it back to be redone again. I expressed my disatisfaction with having to come back twice for what should be routine maintenance. Nick Greco offered me a free oil change. I told him I did not think a free oil chance was adequate compensation. His response was that he could take it back if I wanted. That was the final insult to injury. He did not ask what would be adequate, he did not ask how to make it right in my opionion, just sacastically offered to take back the free oil change offer. I was very disappointed. More
After a couple lackluster visits to other dealerships, I found Morrie's 394 Hyundai and was extremely pleased on all levels. I worked with David, who spent six hours with me test driving cars and answering found Morrie's 394 Hyundai and was extremely pleased on all levels. I worked with David, who spent six hours with me test driving cars and answering the questions I had. I never felt rushed or pressured into buying. This is how every car buying experience should be - friendly and satisfying. I was happy with the price of my new car, as well as my SUV trade-in. I wish I had visited Morrie's MUCH sooner. The people here truly care about customers' satisfaction. More
Melissa was very helpful and not pushy which is exactly what we were looking for. I felt the people we worked with were honest and accommodating. Buy Happy program is also a nice touch. Experience with Melissa was very good, as it was with Steve (Used Car Mgr). Disappointed, though, with the adventures we had with the vehicle immediately after we bought it. It was an "as is" vehicle Steve (Used Car Mgr). Disappointed, though, with the adventures we had with the vehicle immediately after we bought it. It was an "as is" vehicle, which I truly understood what it means to be "as is". But I was also given the impression from conversations at your facility that the dealership hangs onto vehicles that they think are better than others that may arrive via trade-in, and to offer them instead of just going to auction. We even had this vehicle checked by our mechanic before we bought it, but when they actually worked on the vehicle the next day, an estimated $750 worth of repairs turned into $1700 in repairs due to numerous 'hidden' problems. The owner of the shop told me a couple of things that he said he's NEVER seen working on a car, and he's been doing it since 1967. A couple of examples include: [1] The 'check engine' light came on less than an hour after we signed off on the vehicle, only driving it about 15 miles; was a service code reset so that it'd take longer than a test drive to reappear? [2] When going into the steering wheel to fix a clock spring for the airbag system, it turned out that previous work on the column had completely stripped the shaft and the nut that holds the steering wheel could not be tightened, forcing us to have the STEERING COLUMN replaced. As I said, I DO understand "as is", but it would be worth the dealership's effort to do more than a basic visual check before you offer a vehicle. It's true it gives an option to get a very low-priced vehicle, but it'd be worth putting a little more analysis into a vehicle before you offer it. Bottom line is that while this was a wholesale/"as is" vehicle, finding as many repair surprises as we did left some questions that may last for a period of time. So, the "people interaction" we had was excellent, but this product was so unexpectedly challenging that it left some difficult feelings. --------------------------------------------- After some conversation with the dealership following the sale, my opinion of Morries has increased quite a bit. While we had troubles with this particular vehicle, I would still consider working with this dealership in the future. --------------------------------------------- FURTHER interaction with the dealership changed my feelings greatly. We were contacted by the General Manager and offered some resolution options, which was also followed up by some service bonuses. This IS what a dealership should be like. More
Mellisa Garvey was a very nice person to deal with. She found us the exact vehicle that we were looking for, and before she took us for a test ride, she showed us all of the features of the vehicle. She d found us the exact vehicle that we were looking for, and before she took us for a test ride, she showed us all of the features of the vehicle. She did a great job of answereing all of our questions and was very helpful. Because of the way she treated us the day of our purchase, and because of the help she has given us on our follow up questions since we have had the vehicle, I would highly recommend Morrie's 394 Hyundai to anyone I know of that is looking for another vehicle. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Melissa, our sales rep, went out of her way and stayed late so I could test drive the car I fell in love with. I was able to get a great deal on my trade-in. I purchased a new 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe over 9 years ago. It was a great value, and practical vehicle for my young family. Ready to trade it in, I stepped inside Morrie's Hyundai 394. The place was clean, inviting and everyone greeted me with friendly smiles and helpful advice. Pat Arboe "is" my salesman and new car buying coach before and after the deal. Steve Lange helped me with a fair trade-in price for my used vehicle, and was a pleasure to work with. I didn't feel hassled or pressured at anytime. Pat was patient, knowledgeable and interested in making sure I was comfortable with my buying decision throughout my 4 days of decision making. :) Pat drove 100 miles roundtrip to another dealer to pick-up the car I wanted. I pulled off the lot a proud and happy owner of a 2011 Sonata GLS; she's a real beauty and fun to drive. One of my favorite things about Hyundai, besides the great cars, is the no hassle pricing and incentives they offer with the "Buy Happy Promise". Overall, a great customer service experience from beginning to end. After the sale, I still feel like a customer for life. They greet me with a smile, a handshake and know me by first name during my already 10 visits for free car washes and a first oil change. Pat (my favorite sales person) hand washes and dries my car while I wait in the comfortable lobby sipping a complimentary beverage and snack - WOW! The Service Department was accommodating and friendly as well. Great work everybody from front to back of the shop! I'm a customer for life if you keep this up. Best wishes, Jim More
