Took a chance. So happy I did! Today without really looking into the Forest Lake Automotive Group I took a chance. I am an over thinker. I have been looking into getting the new Col Today without really looking into the Forest Lake Automotive Group I took a chance. I am an over thinker. I have been looking into getting the new Colorado for months. I have been a faithful Ford owner for the last 25 years. But I was ready for something new. And a Black on Black Colorado is what I had my heart set on. I spent months looking. And very carefully reading reviews for dealerships. I picked one out by me. I test drove a Z71. But it was blue. I want black. They didn't have black. They couldn't get black in my time frame of 45 days. I was so disappointed. Then I found a Redline black on black online. The only one within a 1000 miles of my location, according to cars.com. I agonized for 24 hrs. Knowing it is a limited special order. But at a dealership 80 miles away and not one I had looked into or even heard of. I talked to my family, my friends at work and they all said send them an email. See if they will hold it for a day or two. I didn't do that. But I did send Forest Lake AG a email. Within minutes Rob Hinsch responded. He told me the one I looked at online, a long bed, had just sold. But he had a short bed same vehicle. I sent him an email and told him I would be there in an hour! I jumped in my car drove 60 miles walked in the door and he knew by looking at me exactly what I was there for without having to say a word. Even greeted me first name and everything. Mind you the dealership was so busy. So many people buying cars today. He was actually working with a couple when i got there. But he grabbed the keys, he already had the truck brought up while I was on the way, and said "take her out. Let's see how she feels" When I got back he knew. He smiled and all I said was let's do this. Mind you I had decided before I left work i was going to buy it. But he informed me of all my finance options. And seamlessly the process was started and completed. I cannot thank Rob Hinsch enough.He really sold me on the Forest Lake Facility. Everyone was so awesome. And the whole process was beyond all my expectations. He was very informative and made certain I was completely satisfied. Not just with him but my purchase. My standards are very very high. Customer focused in Forest Lake We drove all the way over from the northwest suburbs to look at used trucks at Forest Lake Chev/Cadillac. They had some good ones on the internet and we always buy 1- 2 yr old vehicles. We own two Honda's currently and had just test driven a Ridgeline. Mary at the front desk was very warm and welcoming and found us a salesman. Clem gave us his full attention and walked us though many options on his top secret car list and computer screen. After several days of reading dozens of confusing vehicle descriptions I wished there was a table that listed each vehicle on the lot with the key features everyone looks for with check marks or not in place of a list of 45 items including "has carpet and a vanity mirror!" Clem agreed. We were eating their fresh popcorn when Mary offered us free drink coupons just in time, who wouldn't like that! Clem mentioned the new 2019 Colorado's with prices close to the used GMC we liked and explained their dealership's lifetime power train warranty, this last item was important. As usual I walked away to think things over. Clem was gracious in his defeat and invited us to stop by another time. The next day we called and found Clem was busy selling trucks so we just headed east again. We ended up buying one of those new 2019 Colorado with 3000 miles on it! Clem and the staff was very helpful and kind. We felt no selling pressure, just witnessed a group of people working hard to fulfill our dream of a new truck. More

FANTASTIC!!!! Arrived at our 9 am appointment with Zaida Henry to look at a truck we saw posted on Craigslist. I had never been to a dealership with so many sales p Arrived at our 9 am appointment with Zaida Henry to look at a truck we saw posted on Craigslist. I had never been to a dealership with so many sales people and Nobody "attacked" us. The ladies at the front asked if we were meeting someone and lead us to Zaida's office. The atmosphere was relaxed, music playing was great and everyone couldn't be more polite, friendly and comfortable to be around. The truck was out front waiting for us. The truck was exactly as stated in the ad and after a test drive we knew before we got back to the dealer we wanted it. Silverado 2500 in great condition with low miles and a very fair price are extremely hard to come by. No haggling on price necessary.. We stated the amount of payment we could afford and had a trade in Rav 4. They made it happen for us, cleaned the truck up a bit more as it was just listed a day ago, put gas in it and we were on our way. Terrific, down to earth folks. We used to hate dealerships. Love Forest Lake Automotive group. Miss Zaida is absolutely charming to work with and never left us "hanging".
