This review is specific to Larry Paris, the salesperson with whom I dealt. Larry was exceptionally patient and accommodating in facilitating an overall positive experience in purchasing a certified used t with whom I dealt. I have no complaints with Larry Paris or the manner in which he conducted business. However, I was very disappointed in Mossy Toyota's policy on purchasing an alarm system with used vehicles. This dealer uses a policy of not including even a basic alarm system with their entire fleet of used vehicles. For a substantial additional cost an alarm can be purchased. However, such a basic feature SHOULD be included and a "nickel & dime" feeling is felt for such standard option. The dealer allows the customer the option not purchase "their" alarm system and install an aftermarket alarm but this will invalidate the extended warranty if installed. Thus one is essentially coerced into purchasing the dealer's alarm system in order for all electrical components in the car to be safely covered under warranty. Very disappointed that the dealer would "force" a customer to dish out an extra couple hundred dollars when one is already purchasing a $20,000+ vehicle. More
Larry Paris is an awesome professional. He understands what it means to represent the finest car company in the world. He guided me through buying a new Prius with kindness, intelligence, knowledge of the product, and when the problems with brakes came to the surface, he explained the issues clearly and with complete candor. These are marks of a man who believes in his product. On the other hand, there is a horribly pushy sales manager at Mossy named "JR". He stole my keys, tried to pressure me into making decisions before I was ready, used the transparent tricks that car dealers get bad reputations over, and acted far more like a used car salesman rather than a representative of Toyota. He completely lacks class and has no idea that Toyotas sell themselves. He was nothing short of sleazy. I drove into the dealership in an Avolon (my trade in) and they knew I had owned only Toyotas starting with my Tercel in 1981. How could he even think for a moment that I was a risky sale? He needs serious communication training. If it hadn't been for Larry Paris stepping in, and Larry's knowledge, sophistication, and undertanding, I would have gone to another dealer. More

I purchased a 2010 Toyota Tacoma from Paula Lemkuil this past Tuesday. My friend Sean had referred her to me as he bought his past two cars from her. I went there already knowing exactly what I want. She listened to me, and didn't try to get me to buy something I didn't really want which is pretty standard. I was in and out of there pretty fast. The price of the car was better than I coould get anywhere else and they expedited the sales process quickly which they knew was important to me. I know these folks by first name and I feel like I am at home there. This is not just a dealership, it is a destination. The last time I purchased a vehicle was 17yrs ago and I was very nervous about going through the car buying process. Larry made the experience very easy, I explained to him what i was looking for and my price range and we were able to find a suitable vehicle on my first visit.I actually found a few vehicles on your wed site that I wanted to look at, he showed them to me without trying to push me into looking at something else I was not interested in, which was one of the issues I was concerned about going to the lot.VERY APPRECIATIVE of that. Being it was a used vehicle and I am very particular Larry was very patient with me as I examined the vehicle and took care of the one issue I had with it, giving me a loaner until the next day when my car was ready for pick up. I have had the vehicle for three days now and am still happy with my purchase although I have found another issue that should be minor, but am confident that the service dept can help solve. More
