None of this 'negotiating' to guess the secret, lowest price the dealership would sell it for, locked in a tiny, stuffy office hotbox for hours breaking our resistance, "let me ask my manager", "what would it take for you to sign today", browbeating, threatening, playing on our sympathy or any of the rest of that 1950's era malarkey that makes buying a car an ordeal.
