I sent out requests for pricing and information to 3 other dealers. Nick's deal wasn't the lowest but it was the most comprehensive "out the door" price. When we stopped in to seal the deal, the deal price was honored without issue. Like any dealer, there is a profit motive, but it wasn't obnoxious or underhanded. We haven't tested the service department yet, but so far we're quite satisfied. More

I'm usually the kind of buyer who likes to make F&I folks squirm when they sell me stuff I do not want: Alan and Brian figured out I was a no-nonsense buyer and just got straight to business of buying the vehicle, which is probably the first buying experience of five where that's happened for me. Muller gave the best price (other Honda dealers were resigned to lose this deal to Muller when I cross-shopped it - they knew they were not in the game at Muller's price) and backed it up with a terrific buying and delivery experience. This is what the modern car-buying experience ought to be: Know what you want, recognize the value of a good price, find a dealer willing to go an extra mile to work with you while getting the exact product you want, and then making the last bits as seamless as possible. I even had my 4-year-old son along for the delivery and was worried he'd get flustered because these things can take some time: he had a blast and we were out of there in short order.
