Jason was very prompt when we arrive at the dealership. He explained that I was eligible for an oil change and tire rotation. The was also a recall on a small radiator grill. I really appreciated Pieter's friendly and competent approach. There was absolutely no pressure in terms of talking me into anything I wasn't interested in. It was also refreshing to buy from a dealership that doesn't pre-install add-ons that inflate the price. I was looking for a currently hard-to-find exterior/interior color combo, but Pieter searched far and wide, found it, and had it at the dealership within a few days. All this AND I know a got a great deal too! I hadn't been to Gurnee Honda before - but based on this transaction I'll be back! More

Leesa, our salesperson was very good. She worked to get my wife into the exact CR-V she wanted. My only problem with the entire process had to do with our trade in. They stared at $2800 u She worked to get my wife into the exact CR-V she wanted. My only problem with the entire process had to do with our trade in. They stared at $2800 under Kelly Bluebook. I mentioned Carmax and they said they would redo it using Carmax. Why did I have to ask for that? That came back still well below the Kelly price but we took it. Then during the finance process the actual number used for the trade in was less than the Carmax price and I pointed it out. The finance guy went into an explanation that it had to do with taxes and we were getting the same trade value. It made no sense to either my wife or I. It was exactly the kind of double talk that frustrates me to no end at most car dealers. We used the Costco buying program but at the end of the day I’m not sure how much it actually saved us due to all the double talk. The finance process was very rushed and I felt kind of steamrolled. Bottom line is my wife loves the car and I’m glad we bought it. More

Had lease ending, decided I wanted to finance the lease. Got with a credit union to finance it with and I was told I would just need to go in to get the purchase agreement from the dealership. I called ahea Got with a credit union to finance it with and I was told I would just need to go in to get the purchase agreement from the dealership. I called ahead they put time with sales rep. Told them what I was looking to do they should their rates which were way higher then my credit union rates and told them what I needed and they told me they could not provide that and the credit union would have to call Honda. Found out they actually lied to me. I went to another Honda dealership and they were able to give it to me and proceed insight that the dealership should have given it to me but didn't because I was not going through them. The other Honda dealership was able to match the credit union rate as well and super friendly. But will never recommend the Gurnee Honda dealership after they told me no to something they should have been able to do and the credits union told me some dealership play hard to get on purpose to get people to cave. Glad I found a honest dealership who helped after what Muller tried to do. More
