My most recent negative experience is still annoying me. After one year, one of my flip keys broke off in my ignition. I had to actually remove the broken piece of key with a surgical instrument. I made SEVERAL calls to the dealership and no one could give me an answer as to how to obtain a new key. I finally was told to “e-mail a picture of the broken key and it would be submitted to ford corporate for approval to get a new key made. “. After leaving EIGHT messages thereafter to confirm the receipt of the picture and the submission of the picture of the key to corporate, I was then told “Ford Has no flip keys available and you have to wait a month and then call back to begin the process all over again”. WHAT!!!!?????? Who treats a customer like this??????? I can honestly assure you I will never purchase another vehicle from Ford.
