I initially had a positive experience when I went to see an Atlas I found on Facebook. The next day, I arranged financing through my bank due to past negative experiences with Murdock’s finance department. When I returned with my bank check, the finance manager, Drew, was clearly unhappy that I was not financing through the dealership. He aggressively pressed me for my loan terms and, despite my hesitation, I eventually shared them—but I refused to provide my Social Security number or allow him to run a credit application. Rick also encouraged me to provide my current vehicle information so they could evaluate it for purchase. After running the numbers, he sent me back to Drew. At that point, Drew became extremely unprofessional and said, “If the finance manager actually got paid for this sale, I might have worked out something with your car, but because I didn’t get paid, I won’t even consider it.” I found this behavior completely inappropriate and disrespectful. As an older woman purchasing a vehicle on my own, I felt he was trying to intimidate or pressure me—something I will not tolerate. Additionally, I was promised two new front tires and replacement of a faulty parking aid sensor. While the tires were eventually installed (after repeated follow-ups), the service department refused to replace the sensor and instead offered a discounted rate. This was especially frustrating considering I had spent over $35,000 on the vehicle. I even have text messages from the salesman confirming the sensor would be fixed, but I was told that verbal or written assurances outside a formal contract were not sufficient. The sensor is an inexpensive, straightforward repair, which makes the refusal even more disappointing. This experience has cost them not only my future business, but also that of my friends and family. Was it really worth damaging your reputation over a $200 repair? Lesson learned: get everything in writing. Promises made during the sale clearly don’t mean anything here. More
We bought a 2014 Jetta SportWagen TDI from them back in December. I have never had a worst experience buying a car. Second they lied to us about the difference between interest rates between the different bank. Third they said they would call when our plates were in before our temporary plates expired and low and below we never got a call. So when I call (1 week before the temp tags expires) to ask about it they say I need to come in for an emissions test that definitely should’ve been done before it left the lot! We still are dealing with problem 3 months later when all of this should’ve been over with a long time ago! Overall very disappointing and will not be buying anything else from this dealer. More

I bought my dream car from Hyundai Volkswagen in Logan with the very helpful care of Drew and his capable, caring assistant Bonnie. The car was beautiful to start with, but they made sure it was detailed with the very helpful care of Drew and his capable, caring assistant Bonnie.
