Bought a car with a written agreement they would be fixing the passenger seat that rocks back and forth. They looked at the car and specifically said that it needed a new rail ordered and it would take fixing the passenger seat that rocks back and forth. They looked at the car and specifically said that it needed a new rail ordered and it would take a week to come in. Which is the only reason I took the car at the time. Waited a week and no one contacted us. So we called and called till someone finally informed us that the part we were told they were ordering wasn't an option and they would have to replace the entire seat frame. That would cost 3000 so they said they were unwilling to pay that and would only be willing to take 250 off the down payment we owe and bolt the seat down to where we couldn't move the seat back and forth. That's not was promised. What was promised was a fixed seat not a broken one bolted down. Also why did it take them a week to figure this out and why did we have to contact them. Miraculous the written agreement didn't end up in my paperwork. We drove an hour back to the dealership to try to talk things through in person. We felt backed in a corner and said we may be willing to do that but could they reprogram a second key for us as well. We were told yes but sent home and told they would have to schedule the service at a later date. After some research of my own I found someone willing to fix it properly so I asked them to come down 500 on my down payment I owe vs the 250 they offered. I'm having to buy the part and pay the person to fix something they said they would. Plus they don't even have to bolt it down now. Now everytime I call the dealership the GM John is unavailable or on the longest lunch of his life. This has been the shadiest experience I have ever had and all I am asking is for them to do is what they promised. I am quite concerned that a dealership can not afford to pay for a new seat much less 500 to attempt to make something right. I was referred to this dealership because they work with bankruptcies. Unfortunately I had to file due to medical reasons and other unfortunate events. Now I just feel like I was taken advantage of and will make sure everyone knows not to go here. More
