On my most recent purchase, I shopped my home town dealer that I have purchased all cars from EXCEPT the one I am driving now before I looked anywhere else. I found the same car that was offered at my local dealer at Nalley VW, and decided to call them to see if they could beat my local dealers price. I did this because I felt as though after purchasing several cars from them, they could and should be willing to help me a little more on the price than they were. After speaking with my sales person(Maureen McCray) and a few short conversations with the sales manager ( Troy Darnell)... I was purchasing a one way flight for the next morning to pick up the new car I had purchased over the phone. Not only did they beat my local dealers offer to death, they were courteous, and did exactly what they said through every step of the process. They returned my calls when they said, kept me informed throughout the process, fully disclosed all aspects of the deal up front and made me feel special. This is something that my local dealer did not do a single time after spending 150,000 with them over the last 10 years. Before 24 hours had passed, I was sitting in the showroom enjnoying a hot coffee, looking at my new car. I received amazing customer service from the phone, e-mail, in person, all the dealership staff was awersome, Mike quigley in the F&I office was fast, and everything was exactly as he had described. "its has to be Nalley" Is the way I am considering all my future Vehicle purchases, and have been spreading the word to as many people that will listen to my experience. You all make it fun to buy a car, make it exciting to come into the dealership and look forward to the next time I have to make a purchase. The sales department was extremely helpful and put a lot of effort into finding out which model was right for me and my lifestyle. I never felt pressured into any decisions and appreciated their patience as I went through my first experience of purchasing a car on my own. When I decided to buy a new car for my daughter I dreaded the whole process. However I must admit Ms. Waite made the whole process one that I could really enjoy. I highly recommend working with Maureen. At my last VW purchase, she exhibited a ton of safety and feature knowledge, was easy to work with, and helped me move the sale at my pace (which at this purchase purchase, she exhibited a ton of safety and feature knowledge, was easy to work with, and helped me move the sale at my pace (which at this purchase was in a hurry). Brought my 2012 Jetta Wagon in for scheduled 30k mile service. They had me in and out within 75 minutes - consistent with what was promised. I took my 2010 Jetta TDI to Nalley VW service department for a 40,000 miles service on the DSG transmission as that is what is required by Volkswagen of America. I purchased the car from them along with 3 o for a 40,000 miles service on the DSG transmission as that is what is required by Volkswagen of America. I purchased the car from them along with 3 others (all fully loaded) and love(ed) the dealership. I take very good care of my cars and bring them in every 5,000 miles to get and oil change and tire rotation. I recently took this Jetta to the VW dealer in Raleigh and had a Multi-point inspection done along with an oil change and tire rotation. I was immediately notified by the technician there that my car was in bad condition because he said my engine filter and my Cabin Air filter along with a pollen filter were in very bad condition and I was very shocked. I had just taken it to Nalley Volkswagen at 40,000 miles and it has been less then 10,000 miles and they said my filters were in a critical state. I also was told that the line connecting my diesel to my fuel filter was not correctly connected and the fuel filter had not even been placed into the car right. This caused my car to hesitate as the engine was not getting enough diesel. I immediately asked the technician to pull the filters out and check everything else that was supposed to be done at the 40,000 mile service. He showed me the filters and they were really bad (had mold and dirt in them). I was told that these were the filters that came from the factory on my car. I was beyond pissed at this point in time and just had everything replaced and had to pay for everything again. I realized then that NALLEY VOLKSWAGEN CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. I have purchased many cars from them and take them to get serviced there all the time. I can't believe that they have lied to me all this time. I pride myself on how well I care for my car and it really upsets me when I have been lied to and all trust I have had for them is now gone. I kept the old filters and will be showing them to the service department to let them know what they have done. I will also be contacting Volkswagen of America to file a complaint on the dealership as the service was $550 and I had to save up for it. Don't get me wrong, they are friendly people, but they are lairs . Good thing I keep all my service records on file! I will never trust them with any of my vehicles again and also have doubt that they even did any of the services on any of my cars that they say they have. I will now find another dealership that I can trust even if that means I have to drive an extra hour and waste more diesel. Moral of the review, DON'T TRUST THEM! More
