Although Sean is a salesman, he was not the pushy, I see dollar signs, get her to buy anything salesman. He was very personable and listened to my wants and needs. Although I went through what seemed like a world wind of mind changes trying to decide on a car, Sean was patient and he genuinely seemed to care. In the end, he came through with a brand new car that happened to be a good fit for my situation and I walked out a happy customer. Oh yeah, I requested accessories that I didn't even know existed, but just gave it a shot AND Sean delivered! He is awesome and I will be sending TWO people who are in need of a new vehicle his way! I worked with Hyundai Corporate due to a problem and Rogers was chosen to remedy the problem based on all the great reviews. Our experience did not display any of these WRITTEN experiences. Our appointment was at 7 am on March 11, 2017 to have our sunroof issue investigated and rust we found throughout the car after purchasing it this year from a different horrendous dealer. We were told they couldn't find our service request - we received 5 emails and texts reminding us of this appointment. The emails also list our notes of WHY we are creating the appt for service. My husband arrives at 6;30 am and there was a long line before him. He called me to confirm we do have an appt. because Shaun didn't look correctly. Then I heard Shaun in the background loudly overtalking my husband and giving all kinds of excuses about our appt. I then spoke to Shaun, who was also rude with me and I explained my position on the matters. Our closed sunroof howls at 70 mph while we were on the toll road in Indiana and I was told they are not going to have their mechanic get a ticket because they are in Chicago at a speed limit of 45 mph, not in Indiana. The rust was never investigated. They wanted us to drop off the car there: with the backlog of previous vehicles crowded here beyond the long line prior to 6:30 am, who knows WHEN they were going to review our problem. I waited and called Ed (Service Manager) who was just as ignorant and told me he was not told about the rust and the sunroof was fixed with the prior owner in 2014 from a service recall. They just totally overlooked our problems and why we were bringing it there to check on the problem reported to corporate after taking it to McGrath for rust investigation (The sunroof was discovered after our visit to McGrath). They never asked if we had an extended warranty, but they said you will be charged if we look at your issue from the "previously recalled" sunroof. THEY DON'T COMMUNICATE, THEY DON'T READ SERVICE REQUESTS. As mentioned, Ed stated he did not know about the rust despite the service request clearly stating the issue. He also said you can bring the car back and we will take pictures to send to corporate. I told him we were already inconvienced and will not be returning or waiting any longer. I also said I will be communicating back with corporate about my case which he just made worse with the problems we experienced here. After a blow off attitude, he said he will too and hung up. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK HERE TO THIS RUDE SERVICE PLACE!!!!!! More
