Shopped for a brand new MKT. Went to Schaumburg since they are in my backyard. They did not even offer to find what I was looking for and quoted me $1000 under MSRP. Wow $57,000 car and a discount of a they are in my backyard. They did not even offer to find what I was looking for and quoted me $1000 under MSRP. Wow $57,000 car and a discount of a $1,000!!! Than I submitted internet request and Nick from Napleton called and was more than helpful finding the right car for me. I got what I wanted at the price that was better than any other quote I was able to get. Nick was very knowledgeable about the technology and features and spent about an hour showing me how to use the car. I recommend this place to everyone that is looking for a straight forward car purchase experience. More

A cousin and I visited Napleton's Park Ridge Lincoln-Mercury-Mitsubishi in July, 2010 to check out Lincoln's newer offerings. While my cousin talked to one of Napleton's sales persons about the Lincoln-Mercury-Mitsubishi in July, 2010 to check out Lincoln's newer offerings. While my cousin talked to one of Napleton's sales persons about the mid-size MKS "flagship", I tried to talk with the sales manager, Bruno Maca. As a sidenote, I have been puzzled by some of Ford's decisions as of late, i.e., dropping the full-size Town Car completely, having no full-size replacement for it, as well as the discontinuation of Mercury. Simply, I wanted to find out how much longer the Town Car would still be available, and when the Mercury line would be phased out. Mr. Maca responded to my questions in a short, curt manner, as if mad about something. After a short time, I excused myself to look for my cousin, who had left the showroom with his salesperson to take a test drive. As I searched the facility, Mr. Maca followed me. I asked him where the demo cars might be, and he angrily replied they had no demo cars. I stated I was looking for my cousin, was to join him for a test drive, to which he spat out, "We are selective about who we service here". At no time did Mr. Maca offer any information as to where cars for test drives might be parked, so I asked a couple of other personnel where they might be parked. Mr. Maca confronted me and demanded I leave his employees alone, and quit bothering them. Seeing no sign of my cousin, I tried calling him on my cell-phone. Mr. Maca then took out his cell phone as if to call the police. At that point, I left the premises and waited for my cousin to finish his test drive. What makes this so upsetting is that Mr. Maca is ultimately a representative of Ford Motor Co. This kind of attitude hurts the automaker as well as the dealership! Additionally, I had the capacity to purchase any car in Mr. Maca's showroom, cash. This is something that certainly will not happen now. Since this event, I have heard of similar experiences with Napleton dealerships, so it may be widespread. More
I brought my truck in for service on my ac. The ac was not working. I went back to pick it up since the part was not in. I noticed a hairline crack in the winshield that was not there before I brought it not working. I went back to pick it up since the part was not in. I noticed a hairline crack in the winshield that was not there before I brought it in. They told me there was no way they could have cracked it. It was impossible to happen that it had to be broken by a rock when I was driving. However I am the only one who drives the truck and a rock never hit the winshield. They acted like I was trying to scam a windshield. When I told them that I was going to call corporate the sales manager (Bruno Maca) said " I dont give a rat's xxx what you do and if you want to take us to court I have corporate attorneys sitting on there xxxxx so it would keep them busy. The service on my ac is being done now. I will let you know how that goes. They treated me with disrespect, resorted to swearing and flat out acted as if I was lying. I also copmlained to corporate and hit a dead end there to. Just a heads up Karl Hamann the service manager says they are not responsible for any damage to the vehicles that come in because the damage could have been done in the lot and hes not responsible for that. P.S. dont know how they cracked my winshield but they wash the vehicles through a car wash and it could have happened there or on the way there. I talked to a guy that workes in service and he told me they are supposed to take the antenna off so it doesnt do any damage. I think that they may have forgotten to take it off. More
ON 2/20/2010 WE WENT TO NAPLETONS PARK RIDGE LINCOLN MERCURY. WE WERE LIED TO, PRESSURED AND SOLD A CAR WITH A SALVAGE TITLE. THIS IS ILLEGAL IN ILLINOIS. THIS DID NOT STOP NAPLETON. IT WAS A VERITA MERCURY. WE WERE LIED TO, PRESSURED AND SOLD A CAR WITH A SALVAGE TITLE. THIS IS ILLEGAL IN ILLINOIS. THIS DID NOT STOP NAPLETON. IT WAS A VERITABLE DEATH TRAP THAT THEY SOLD AS A "LIKE NEW" CAR. They advertised a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer with 63,000 miles that was "extra nice inside and out".The owner himself, Bill Napleton, the used car manager Joe Parks, the salesman Bruno Maca, and the business manager Benjamin Trush were involved with the sale of this car that turned out to have a SALVAGE title. The Ilinois Secretary of State Police Division in Villa Park, Il, has confirmed this, and that is illegal in Illinois. Besides selling us a car with a Salvage Title, and advertising it as a great car with a clean CARFAX, they lied about the extended warranty. This was for my daughter who had to get back on the road with over 2,500 miles to drive for her job. The liars and cheats at Napletons Park Ridge Lincoln Mercury were made well aware of the need for a safe, well running car that had to be put on the road the next day. The 2000 Mountaineer they sold us, hiding and witholding the Salvage Title from us, was a death trap. It had bad steering, bad brakes, transmission and electrical problems. There were lights not working, NO HEATER, and the tires, on a 4WD were different sizes. That can destroy a 4WD. We were not given a chance to test drive it since the dealer was putting a new steering assembly in it until just after closing. All the while, the entire Saturday, WHILE WE WAITED FOR THE "ONLY" REPAIR IT NEEDED, Joe Parks was pressuring us to buy a more expensive car. We only wanted to spend $5000 tops, not the $11,000 to $15,000 Shots wanted us to spend. When we finally got into it, the car was running outside and the dealership lights were being turned off. Joe Parks, Bruno Maca and Benjamin Trush are REEAL smooth. They got me to pay without a test drive....although looking back, I can see where they may have stalled bringing the car out of the shop on purpose. BIG MISTAKE...I KNOW. AND, I HAD NOT THOUGHT TO CHECK THE COMPLAINTS ON THESE DEALERSHIPS. WISH I HAD. LORD, I WISH I HAD RESEARCHED HOW BAD THE NAPLETON DEALERSHIPS ARE TURNING OUT TO BE. Benjamin Trush made an extensive effort of stressing how the extended warranty would cover anything that might breakdown on my daughters 2,500 mile trip, up into and through the Rockies on her way to the west coast. THE LIAR! THE WARRANTY HAS A 30 DAY HOLDING PERIOD AND SINCE THE CAR HAD A SALVAGE TITLE....NOTHING WOULD BE COVERED EVER. TRUSH KNEW THIS! LATER HE SAID "THE RULES HAD JUST RECENTLY BEEN CHANGED" xxxxxxxxx! As for the Mountaineer and the Carfax, well, they had claimed repeatedly that it had a clear Carfax, but never did produce it. We pulled one ourselves once we got it home, and learned that had been reported as "extensive damage", a salvaged wreck. They never did produce the Carfax, even though we asked a dozen times and I can easily understand that now. I should have seen the warnings...seen the red flags! On Monday 2/22/2010, we brought the car back and asked for a refund. I confronted them with the fact that I knew the car had a salvage title, a fact confirmed by the Illinois Secretary Of State Police Division, and indicated I wanted an immediate and full refund. If not, I would sue for a refund. That got me threatened by Joe Parks, then callous indifference from Joe Parks. He bantered about Napleton having a whole staff of lawyers who do nothing but bury people trying to sue the dealerships. Never-the-less, Parks then agreed to take back the car, but only for a different car and he still adamantly refused to make a refund. Rather than wait 2-3 years for a court award we agreed to take a different car applying the first monies to the second car. Joe Parks and Benjamin Trush agreed to a price of $9990 for the second car and a price of $1400 for the warranty. They also agreed to NOT CHARGE a second doc fee or a second transfer fee since the ILLEGAL IN ILLINOIS sale of a salvage titled car was their responsibility. MAKING THE MISTAKE OF THINKING THEY WOULD HONOR THE PRICES THEY QUOTED ME, I HAD MY DAUGHTER AND HER FIANCE GO IN TO BUY THE SECOND CAR WITHOUT ME, ONLY TO GET MANIPULATED AND GET PRESSURED INTO PAYING $10,500 FOR THE SECOND CAR PLUS $1800 FOR THE WARRANTY. THEY ALSO HAD THE AUDACITY AND THE DISHONESTY TO CHARGE THE FEES A SECOND TIME. Efforts to reach the owner BILL NAPLETON are fruitless. The entire staff and the experience is the worst I have ever had. I am 63 and have bought about 20 cars and vans over the years. Napleton is the worst experience I have ever had. I WILL NEVER GO NEAR A NAPLETON DELERSHIP AGAIN More
