I have a problem with the Napleton Customer Care service (oil changes, tire rotations) I purchased for $599 on May 28, 2020 for my new 2020 Hyundai Palisade. The 2-year service is supposed to start three y (oil changes, tire rotations) I purchased for $599 on May 28, 2020 for my new 2020 Hyundai Palisade. The 2-year service is supposed to start three years after the Hyundai service warranty, but was entered to start the date of purchase. The error was made by the finance manager who sold it to us, but who is now gone from the dealership. I have been promised three times that the dates would be corrected, but so far no luck. All I want is to have the dates put in correctly, or worse case a refund of my $599. The lack of response has been very frustrating. More
My son has been waiting over 3 hours for his car. Now they have him blocked in waiting for people to pick up their cars. What on earth is goin on???? This better NEVER happen again. This past monday we brought our vw atlas cross sport back in because of a front end vibration/shimmy. We have had the car in there at least 2 other times for this, starting in January of 2021. No one can see in because of a front end vibration/shimmy. We have had the car in there at least 2 other times for this, starting in January of 2021. No one can seem to duplicate it. However, this past monday, magically it was duplicated only to be told the tires were cupping.....(remember its been in there at least two times since january and no one said a word about the tires) These are 60,000 mile tires with only 21,000 miles on them. They told me that I would have to pay for the tires myself. Talk about shady. 2 weeks before this appointment they couldnt find a thing and now they want me to spend over $700 on tires. The front end vibration/shimmy has been there since we bought the car (not to mention they didn't pay the loan off right away and we had to make additional payments on a car we didn't even own anymore) but we are expected to pay for tires that should still be good or they should stand behind the vehicles they sale. I will be taking this elsewhere to have it looked at. So buyers beware, they cant pay off loans on time and the service department is ridiculous. More
Service dept does great work, but they charge a $140 "diagnostic fee" which is non negotiable and totally unreasonable. After researching, I decided, in April, to buy a 2021 Outlander PHEV (plug in-hybrid-electric-vehicle). Napleton had none and would not order one for me. The service department has no mechanic certified to work on plug-in cars. They do not have the proper equipment to service e-cars. So Mitsubishi does not let them sell them. I had to go to Bloomington/Normal to buy my car. It was an excellent experience. Today I was told, at Napleton, that they do not have the equipment ordered and there are no plans to train a mechanic. What? Now . . . I'm puzzled . . . what does that city have that Urbana-Champaign does not have in terms of car consumerism? I want to make Napleton my great place for servicing my car. It is my hope they get with the program. More
I am always impressed with the care these people take in everything they do, from excellent work on my car, to incredibly friendly customer service.
