Bait and switch Salesperson Alex was very helpful and friendly (deserves a raise), but that wasn't enough to counterbalance the fact that a car advertised in print an Salesperson Alex was very helpful and friendly (deserves a raise), but that wasn't enough to counterbalance the fact that a car advertised in print and voice to be "Certified Pre Owned" at a listed price was found to be, upon arriving, not quite all that. After test driving the car and beginning negotiations my wife was told, "Oh if you want the car Certified you'll have to pay an additional $1,500". What? That was not in the advertisement anywhere. We have purchased two other pre-owned and Certified cars in the past and never been told at the last minute we'd have to pay more for the certification. We ended up getting the certification "for free" but the taste left in our mouths was a bad one. You honor the price and description of the warranty that you've put in print. PERIOD. I won't purchase another vehicle from CJ Wilson in Countryside based on this BS alone. Then when the window broke four days later and needed to be replaced, our appreciation for the repair (actually not covered under the bumper to bumper warranty) was tempered by the lousy attitude of Rene at the Service Desk who was unhelpful, short, rude and then challenged whether or not we "lived far away" by questioning the address on my driver's license. We are enjoying the car and feel that we got a good deal, but having to "negotiate" for something that was advertised to be included is totally unacceptable. And to be treated poorly by a service manager...no thanks. Big thanks to Alex, however, for his attitude and help. More
