Dealership service department failed to diagnose engine problems prior to complete engine failure, and refused to honor extended warranty for Rod Bearing Failure, which was clearly and direct result of thi problems prior to complete engine failure, and refused to honor extended warranty for Rod Bearing Failure, which was clearly and direct result of this failure. Kia Customer Care Service would not back this claim since they rely solely on the dealers findings. This is a clear failure to dismiss this claim on Kia's lack of involvement, and the dealers complete negligence of pre-emptive service. Service after sales is not Kia's or Mid Rivers Kia priority. Furthermore this dealership had no General Manager to address these issues with beyond the Service Manager. Very unprofessional establishment. More
Bought a new 23 Sportage. Vehicle has refused to start 6 times in 6 months. Made an appointment for service. Called in the afternoon after check in car in at 7:45. No answer. Was informed it would take 24 to 72 hours to run diagnostic. No loaner cars available. 6 days later was told my car was ready. Problem could not be found. Was told I would have to wait for a catastrophic failure to fix issue. Afraid to take it anywhere. So much for KIA service. More
on 6-12-23 . . I had an oil change and bought new tires with an alignment. The first thing that went wrong was, I received a video of the tech doing the walkar . I had an oil change and bought new tires with an alignment. The first thing that went wrong was, I received a video of the tech doing the walkaround of my car. The only problem was it wasn't my car. I texted back that the video was of the wrong vehicle and the service agent responded that nope it was indeed my car. I replied back that no the video was of a black car, mine is silver and the clearly visible license plate was not mine. I was then told that the system switched the phone numbers between myself and the other customer. When I picked up my car I was given the usual advice about needing to drive a bit before the low tire pressure light goes off. When it had not gone off by the next day my husband checked the tire pressure. One tire was at 18psi, the other 3 varied between 30 - 35. The valve stem on the low tire was all messed up and took several tries to even be able to get the tire pump on it. The tires are not the same as what I replaced, even though I was told they were. They are also incredibly dirty, like pulled out of field dirty, odd for being brand new. I have sent in 2 text messages about these issues and done 3 phone satisfaction surveys and despite being told someone would reach out, I've heard nothing. They also refused to do the anti-theft update to the software because I had an alarm system installed and they claimed it could cause a computer issue. Not sure how that could be, maybe I'll reach out directly to Kia about it. More

I had my oil changed yesterday. I thought I had more free ones. Without checking he said no. I ask them to see if they can figure out why the brake light was going on and off. Three hours later the young man who waited on me, brought me my paper work. Normal looking nothing needed. I ask about the brake light, he went back outside. He said he didn't know why it hadn't printed out for me. He told me I had no brakes. He said it was metal on metal AND I needed new rotors. I have a nephew who is a mechanic. He owns his own shop. I had him check my brakes and rooters. Rear tires have 90% left. Front tires have 50% left. Nothing is wrong with the rotors. You want to tell me why this young man straight up lied to me. You won't see me around the shop anymore. I wouldn't trust what was said to me. More

This place is unprofessional and has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Took them 3 hours for an oil change and for them to tell me they couldn’t fix my seat even though it was under warrant service I’ve ever experienced. Took them 3 hours for an oil change and for them to tell me they couldn’t fix my seat even though it was under warranty. Told me the time before they could fix it but needed to schedule additional appointment for the repair. Time before took multiple hours to have them check a slow leak in tire then wanted almost $200 to patch it. Called for an estimate on new tires and never received call back, it’s been a month. Another time had to provide a copy of extended warranty to them for a repair to be done because they did not have a copy on file. Took them over 6 months and 3 phone calls to get a part ordered and replaced. Today was told by service guy Dennis that I was having issues with service because “I’m a women and it makes me feel like I’m getting screwed over”. But the worst yet is when the GM who mind you didn’t introduce himself (Justin Norvell), didn’t ask how he could help, but proceeds to talk over my concerns with customer service and the lack of professionalism from his staff by stating he has been yelled at all day by customers and doesn’t want to be yelled at again so I should leave the store and not return. My family and I have been customers here since 2008, bought 3 cars here and we have never had such poor customer service as we have in the last 3 years! Today was by far the worst! Won’t be going back. Steer clear of this place it is going down hill fast! More
