BUYER BEWARE: We purchased a vehicle through Nash Auto in Costa Mesa. The Carfax appeared clean and they told us it was checked over. They also said there was a "protective film" and "anti theft tracking dev Costa Mesa. The Carfax appeared clean and they told us it was checked over. They also said there was a "protective film" and "anti theft tracking device" added to all of their vehicles so we weren't able to decline those charges, only get the cost down. Once we took it home and had it inspected twice, we found out it needs over $6k in major repairs. We also confirmed they lied about adding the "protective film" and "car tracking device" which neither are on the vehicle, confirmed by 2 mechanics (one at a certified VW dealership.) There is also a non VW panel inside the vehicle and we aren't sure if this was purchased at an auction due to this. When we called to ask, we were assured they do not buy auction or salvage vehicles, yet when my husband called a couple days later, he was told the GM was at an auction. Nash Auto said to bring it back to them to have their mechanic "fix it". That was a week ago, they won't answer our calls, or give us the mechanic's info. They are holding our vehicle hostage and running out the clock on the California mandatory 30 day warranty. Not only did they lie in the contract about adding features not even on the car, they won't give us a straight answer, give us any info on any mechanic, keep lying and saying their GM is out of the office, and still have our car without giving us any loaner. Stay FAR Away from Nash Auto – Lying, Deception, and Legal Threats! If I could give negative stars, I would. Nash Auto is one of the most dishonest, deceptive, and unprofessional dealerships I’ve eve Legal Threats! If I could give negative stars, I would. Nash Auto is one of the most dishonest, deceptive, and unprofessional dealerships I’ve ever dealt with. If you value honesty, transparency, and ethical business practices, DO NOT buy a car here. 1. Multiple Lies and Gross Misrepresentation on My Sales Contract • I negotiated a price for my vehicle with Ashton Salah (salesman), but AFTER the deal was made, he slipped in thousands of dollars in extra charges for things I never agreed to. • They are trying to force me to pay for a “surface protection” plan and an “anti-theft device”—neither of which were discussed before I signed the contract. • Nash Auto also grossly underestimated my DMV registration fees and claimed they (Nash Auto) would cover the difference—only to later demand I pay it myself. 2. Hidden GPS Tracker and a Kill Switch in My Vehicle – Not Disclosed at Sale! This is where things get truly disturbing: • After purchasing my vehicle, I discovered an aftermarket GPS tracking device AND a remote kill switch that were not disclosed anywhere on my contract. • One of these devices is hardwired into my vehicle’s electrical system and has the ability to shut off my engine remotely. • California law requires full disclosure of any GPS or starter-interrupt devices at the time of sale, but Nash Auto conveniently “forgot” to mention this. 3. Lying to My Face and Threatening Me with Legal Action • When I brought these issues up, both Ashton Salah and Shannon Salah (sales manager) admitted that they failed to disclose these things to me, pointing blame on one another. Shannon even mentioned Ashton is “only 18” and since he’s so young he makes mistakes. • Instead of apologizing and fixing the problem, they turned around and THREATENED ME WITH LEGAL ACTION for daring to call them out! • JR (the general manager) refused to take responsibility and instead tried to bully me into signing away my rights, including my right to leave honest reviews like this one. 4. An Absolute Nightmare of a Dealership • They lie, manipulate, and deceive customers, then try to intimidate them into silence. • They hide fees, add-on charges, and even TRACKING DEVICES without disclosure. • They backtrack on verbal agreements and refuse to honor their word. • When caught, they threaten legal action rather than fixing their mistakes. Final Warning – AVOID NASH AUTO AT ALL COSTS! If you don’t want to deal with hidden fees, fraudulent sales contracts, undisclosed tracking devices, and threats of legal action just for asking for transparency, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable dealerships that don’t engage in these disgusting tactics. I plan to report Nash Auto, Ashton Salah, Shannon Salah, and JR to the California DMV, Bureau of Automotive Repair, and the Department of Consumer Affairs for their deceptive business practices. This place is a scam operation, and I will make sure everyone knows it. More

I purchased a car here. The car was used and “as is” but the salesperson, Lynn, told me that the display screen and Bluetooth feature worked. That night, I was at the dealer The car was used and “as is” but the salesperson, Lynn, told me that the display screen and Bluetooth feature worked. That night, I was at the dealership for a long time because she got all my paperwork wrong and had to redo it. The SAME DAY that I bought the car, I got home and tried to connect my phone and it wouldn’t work. Half of the touch screen doesn’t work. So I called and Lynn said she would talk to her manager. Almost 2 weeks later, I followed up and she said to bring it in. I waited for almost 2 hours for them to tell me “it’s fine.” Lynn got in the car with me and I showed her it was broken. She told me to bring it back another day for their mechanic to fix it. I told her I would come Friday and she said she would confirm that then text me. She never did. I followed up AGAIN a few days later and she asked when I can come. I told her either tomorrow or the following day. She called me 3 days later and asked me when I could come AGAIN. We set an appointment. I got there and they basically told me they won’t fix it for me bc I didn’t buy the warranty. I explained that there are other issues with the car that I don’t hold them accountable for but this was expressly represented to me. I talked to the sales manager who said it was “he said/she said.” I asked him to simply ask the salesperson if she told me it works and he said “that’s neither here nor there. You have to trust but verify.” So basically, my lesson from that is that I shouldn’t believe anything she told me?? He said there was absolutely nothing he can do so I asked to speak to someone who can do something. The general manager also refused to make the repair for me. He said they would pay half and I said that wasn’t sufficient because I bought the car under the impression that the display worked BECAUSE THATS WHAT THE SALESPERSON SAID and because it doesn’t glitch until you actually try to connect a phone, so at the dealership, it looked normal, turned on, volume went up and down, etc. The general manager told me to “calm down.” I explained that I’ve been trying to deal with this for a month and that I’m frustrated. He told me “to be blunt, you have no legal recourse here.” I am an attorney and I told him “you’re not an attorney.” He told me he could end the conversation at any time, so I just walked out. So the salesperson either lied or spoke without knowing and they all backed her up. Shady business practice. Don’t purchase a car here. More

RED ALEAT WITH THESE GUYS. .........DO NOT BUY FROM THEM........... These individuals at Nash Auto engage in deceptive business practices. They advertise vehicles at one price .........DO NOT BUY FROM THEM........... These individuals at Nash Auto engage in deceptive business practices. They advertise vehicles at one price to lure customers into visiting their dealership. However, upon arrival, the actual price is significantly higher due to the addition of mandatory add-ons. This tactic, known as bait-and-switch, is a dishonest way to inflate the final price. Essentially, they advertise a lower price but pressure customers into purchasing unnecessary add-ons totaling thousands of dollars, making the advertised price unattainable. This behavior is unethical and illegal.... STAY AWAY FROM THEM................ More
This dealer listed a 2019 Lexus LC500 for sale and I made an appointment to see and possibly purchase the car. The ad was taken down on Thursday and I called asked if it was sold, Shannon told me it still a an appointment to see and possibly purchase the car. The ad was taken down on Thursday and I called asked if it was sold, Shannon told me it still available and she made an appointment for me to come down this Saturday 1pm. However, 30 minutes before the appointment when I'm already driving on my way she texted and said appointment has been cancelled without any explanation. I called and she said her boss decided to buy the car. What an absolutely waste of time and how unprofessional this dealer is. This proves to me that buying expensive car like a Lexus should always be at Lexus Dealer and not these little no name dealer like this. More
